Just seen it again - having to wait for the whole of the "fuel cell" to be on fire is tedious and takes ages and you just wanna watch it float up - but it's essential to have the whole "fuel cell" for it to work properly The best way is to get a "creme brûlée torch" and blast it with the flame of it for the whole thing to be on fire as quickly and easy as possible And it's fun doing it coz it's like a mini flame thrower And you can melt sugar on a creme brûlée with it

Use a creme brûlée torch. You can get them off ebay for a few quid. You use them to make sure the "fuel cell" is fully lit and lit quickly and easily I think that one had a hole as well tho

Wellllll I was going to light one in memory of a lost loved one, even though they’re illegal in Australia I was going figured I’d rather light a rice paper lantern than let a rubber balloon litter the ocean, this video changed my mind although this was a fail your epic fail probably saved a huge bushfire! Because if it did what yours did and landed in our dry scrub it would have instantly caused a fire, thank you! I’ll stick with a white helium balloon

SOME ADVICES BY A PERSON (ME) WICH HAVE BOUGHT ABOUT 50 ON EBAY -wind? NO WAY dont make any lantern to fly dont askit WHYYY????? just dont do it. -if is broken use paper scotch to close any holes then use it but my advice is to trash it -turn on all the 4 angles of fuel paper at base -wait about 3 minuts before lo release dont force the take off only make cold air to get iside the conseguence is little lift and stalling and crashing at the closest woods.. legal issues incoming... -FAR FROM CHILDRENS. dont let them playing with them -DONT MODIFY the sky lantern don add paper ad decals or anything will only encrease the weight and after20 feet before the take off youll see the lantern loosing altitude and crashing (ita happens to me with huge blasfemy due to some trees closer..) -inform if is LEGAL on your country -MIND IT THIS IS NOT A GAME IS LIKE A FIREWORKS
