I really wish I could thank you in person. I haven't been back to China in five years, and my Chinese driver's license has expired. So, I need a Queensland driver's license. Like many people in the comments section, I often don't know the speed limit on a road (missing the signs).The night before last, I watched your video three times, and then I passed the practical driving test (Greenslopes) on the first try, with almost no mistakes.

This is great to hear you could pass your test with only watching videos. Well done. That's a great achievement. Congratulations 🎊 👏 💐

I always looked at the signs. Even moving my head a lot in driving and even paying attention,too. Even seeing the lines on the road. I’m always cautious in driving.

Hi, thanks a lot for all the informative videos. I've watched your videos to be clear about road rules. Today, I passed my driving test at Bankstown, Sydney centre on the first go. Thanks and gratitude again.

19:18 everytime I approach carparks, most of them are 10 km/h as the speed limit. However, I have this great habit that may be good for drivers that are driving in carparks: Everytime I drive in a carpark without a speed limit sign present or posted, I always treat them to be 10 km/h. Why? There could be a lot of vehicles and pedestrians present! Although some drivers may think some unsigned carparks are about 50 km/h, but you must drive to the conditions. So, 10 km/h should be the default speed limit in QLD carparks in my opinion.

Two questions, if you’re not in a residential area and there are no speed signs, what speed do you go? And also, if you go past a school zone and there is no speed sign, do you remain 40 even though ur not in a school zone anymore?
@drivingtestaustralia11 ай бұрын
1) Still 50. 2) No. Once you pass the school zone, you go with the usual speed limit of the area

15:34 what if the roads was 60 but you drive 50 until you see the sign will that? Be a fail. Cause you driving too slow?
@drivingtestaustraliaАй бұрын
No, you won't fail for that. Because there was no sign at the start of the road, and we didn't know the road speed limit was 60

I just have a question, if the sign is 60 but you still go at 50 will they mark ypu down?
@drivingtestaustralia11 ай бұрын
If the traffic conditions allow you drive closer to 60 and you don't, yes. If the traffic conditions are not suitable to drive close to 60 and you slow down to 50, no

Thanks for the video. in my testing location, there is one country road with a speed limit of 100km/h. However, most of it it is VERY narrow and has bends and blind corners. Honestly, I feel like the legal speed limit doesn’t match the road at all and my mum (a very experienced driver) agrees. There isn’t any road markings either. My instructor warned me of roads like this but the testers follow the rules. If I go much lower than the speed limit, due to the condition of the road, will I fail or will this be seen as hazard awareness? Or, how should I approach this?
@drivingtestaustralia11 ай бұрын
No that's not a problem. You don't have to drive at 100 if the road and weather conditions are not suitable for that.
@viiperbiite11 ай бұрын
@@drivingtestaustraliaThank you so much I’ve been stressing about this - Just in time too because my test is tomorrow! 😊 Drove the road again today for practice. My new problem is right hand turns out of narrow roads with low visibility into busy main roads 🤣

if the sign says 60 , and we go on 55 what happens ? or should we go exactly at 60 without exceeding ??
@drivingtestaustralia Жыл бұрын
No you don't have to go exactly at 60. Something between 55 to 59 is good. Having said that, you need to slow down when the road condition and traffic situation is not ideal for driving at the above mentioned speed.

I thought when turning left into a multi lane road you have to turn in the left lane then go into the Right lane at 7:05
@drivingtestaustralia Жыл бұрын
When turning from a single lane onto a multi lane road, you are allowed to go directly to any lanes that you like. In the case of this video, because I wanted to turn right next, I chose the right lane

There is stop continued line and broken line at stop sign, there are cars parking block 2 view from right and left. We stop at stop continued line in 3 second and can we roll the car slowly to look full view before deciding to cross the road and keep straight? I am so confused
@drivingtestaustralia Жыл бұрын
Yes, we can certainly do that. My next video is all about stop sign. I'll post a link to it once it goes live 🙂
