Thank you for watching. And keep an eye out on my channel. I will be painting some hot wheels pretty soon. I'm already practicing taking them apart and stripping the paint.

Hello, I liked your demostration because I am also trying to use craft paint on HO scale slot cars. The mistakes you made has me rethinking on my methods on laying down paints. So, thank you for the video. Great work!!!

I'm glad the information was helpful. I am going to try this again on another slot car body, but I'm going to use createx airbrush paint this time.

It may not be the best looking paint job standing still but I bet it looks awesome racing around the track.

Hello - I too am trying to use craft paints and I'm pretty much getting the same results. I do however have some Acrylicos Vallejo Airbrush Flow Improver ordered and will see if that helps, along with reducing. We'll see. Thanks for the video.

Hey Thomas. Thanks for the info. Please let us know if the flow improver works...

could the tint or the additive in the windshield fluid cause a flash setting before hitting the surface?
@RoadsAndRailsHobbies11 ай бұрын
I can't 100% say that I know. However I did mix some craft paints with windshield washer fluid and kept it in a bottle for over 2 weeks and it didn't dry it out. So I don't think so.

Nice job sir, do you have link to the normal paints you use as I am just starting. Thank you.
@RoadsAndRailsHobbies8 ай бұрын
Here is a link to the paints i prefer. They are the wicked line by createx. This a large starter set. No need to buy it, but at least you can see what colors they offer and go from there. And dont forget to buy reducer. Either 4011 or 4012. Take care and thanks for watching. amzn.to/4cMOtxF

HO scale is 1:87. 1:64 is S scale.
@RoadsAndRailsHobbies11 ай бұрын
Hi John. You are correct if we're talking about model railroading. This is a slot car. In the slot car world 1:64 scale is called HO scale. Thank you for keeping an eye out for me. Take care and happy modeling....
