You definitely need to give playing with others a try. Deep Rock Galactic has got to be one of the best communities I know of. Playing with randoms is one of the best ways to experience the game if you don't have a friend to play with. And don't be intimidated by the higher level players. 90% of us greybeards love helping out all the greenbeards trying out deep rock and still learning the ropes.

So how the contagon spike went away is that bosco finished it for you. You had put the foam on enought of the pustules then later bosco had vacumed it up damaging the spike

Rockpox enemies have blisters that take like triple damage, but if you dont hit that they have like 75% more health per health
