Their eating the box! 🤣 Yeah, definitely needs more protection than double lared cardboard. 80# dropped from 30" goes right through. You have to expect its getting dropped at least that far.

holy shit lol... I literally have shipped you core transmissions better packed than that! That's ridiculous. I'll donate these guys some scrap 3/4 ply offcuts or something I guess On the Reid 80e case, what's the first weak point, if any? I'm just curious, don't think I'd ever need such a thing, just curious if a cast steel case will ever be necessary or if the Reid case is capable of more than you can build the rotating assembly to withstand
