The best tip is abusing the atrocious head glitches in this game. You see the toe of someone's boot poking from behind a box and suddenly you get hit five times by an M4.

I really like that this game is not about doing sideways slide drop shots while move backwards like Call of Duty is turning into some crazy controller gymnastics. All the peeps with the extra paddles on their controller for those insane moves are winning while actual gun skills don’t matter anymore.

One of the worst things about this game is that every auto weapon could have no recoil, and you can put a drum mag on a semi auto shotgun that can have 100 on hipfire accuracy stat

My worst habit in Delta is running into bullets. My kills have gone up and my deaths have gone down but its not easy for me. One thing I have found on most maps is that you can learn from people who kill you. Remember where they killed you from and next time use that same spot. In one map wherre they have the tall cranes you can actually get behind the enemy and shoot them from above like fish in a barrel. Best to make sure you are using recon and have a rez beacon hidden someplace.

I hate the jump and mantle set on one key. I had so many accidental death when you want to jump out of cover, your character mantle instead!

When you manually turn off the laser sight and use a tactical aim with your gun, the laser will automatically turn on. Once you stop aiming, the laser will automatically turn off. This is a great little trick when you're hiding somewhere and don't want the enemy to see your laser.

I find it sad this game has such extensive customization, like being able to specifically set what x times your scope is , knowing BF1 had it and for what ever reason DICE decided to get rid of it even thought a lot of people said it was a great addition.

The only thing I want from Delta Force is staged reloads. The reload speed is not fast enough on 90% of guns to not have it be a feature, and I can’t begin to count how many times I’ve cancelled a reload at 95% completion.

Not exactly, cant do it more than a couple times without getting prefired and killed due to desync. Your head is exposed for longer than you think.

Pupil distance affects the view around the outside of the sight. You aren't noticing a difference because you are already modifying your weapons to not have any zoom by removing that 1.25x default zoom that's on all of the weapons. If you reapply the zoom, and then just toggle back in forth between the two extremes on the Pupil Distance slider, the difference is clear as day.

You can turn off the laser and still use the laser aim/canted aim and it automatically turns it on for you but when you go back to normal ads it stays off

Could you also please make a more advanced guide on how to deal with the atrocious tick rate, shots disappearing (had gun fights where an entire mag from MP5 at 10m gave me nothing but hit markers), headglitching assholes, etc.? While I'm no you, I still have over 3k hours in BF4 and over 1k in other BF titles and I consider myself pretty decent player that has no problem being in the top 5 when I stop fucking around, but in this game I constantly get killed behind cover, get outgunned even when I shoot first, get killed by people that have no feasible line of sight on me, etc.

How to work around the maps is something I'm looking forward to, for me it feels like I'm always get spotted. And not talking about the wallhack. I try to use cover as much as I can, lean peaking is something I need to learn, and a bind key for laser off. did not about that one.

I been watch many pro on this game .thay all use tactical aiming and relying heavily on hip-fire instead of the scope. If your playstyle involves flanking and launching attacks from behind enemy lines to eliminate multiple enemies, a high-capacity magazine is essential. Most submachine guns are ruled out due to their limited ammo capacity. You might consider using the M4 with a drum magazine, the AK12, or the short-barrel version of the RPK. Don’t forget to use tactical aiming for quick shooting. If your monitor supports an on-screen crosshair, it’s recommended to enable this feature to complement your tactical aiming.

you are incorrect about hipfire. if a gun is built for accuracy beyond 80 dropshotting with hipfire becomes very viable with ttk below a second out to around 35 meters consistently

The other day was the first time I'd ever heard someone in Squad Chat complain about mine and my guild mates game play. It's not anything concerning, but we are older guys playing the game, so we aren't jacked up on Adderall, Mountain Dew, GFule and Ritalin. Granted, I'd like to play better by being more patient and situationally aware, but ultimately I just run places and shoot things, nearly willy-nilly. So, WhiteGalaxy can F'himself, if we only have 2 kills and 8 deaths, but I was scoring hella points from reviving, healing and throwing Ammo's.
