Black and white plus accent color buttons is the easiest way to not mess up, but it's fun to push it further.

I think where you have the header and the logo, if you make that logo colour what the header is and the header bg colour what the body is, that would look great.

Nice, but the header now has worst contrast than before. If the green is the main color, I would leave it as it was at first, but perhaps change the color of the Burger menu icon to green.
