I would keep the lock on the potable water. A lot of craziness out there. Keep water system safe. All potable water sounding tubes on a ship are locked for a reason.

So you had to shut the low point valve off before any antifreeze would go in? This will be my very first wanderlodge winterization. Instead of antifreeze, im going to hook an air compressor up, (in that same compartment) and blow out everything. Does that mean that air will come out of the low point hose, if I don’t have it shut off? It has the automatic air blow out system like yours, but I was told not to trust it. Did you end up using the air, or continue with the antifreeze? Thank you……

Ahoy Jeff, we actually wound up doing both (antifreeze first, then blowing out the system with the compressed air). This Spring when we actually get to USE it (we hope 🤞), we’ll find out if it worked 😜

I got the exact same antifreeze in Nebraska for $5.00 which is $2.00 more than last year but we have no inflation?????????

our 2 year old flipped that air purge switch, but I didn't find out until i started to air up and heard it. it was not good.
