Very interesting! I must try all kinds of stuff with this. I have started multiple seeds again. I have 2 very young trees and I pruned them like 4 times last summer to encourage branches, and try to make them not to grow upwards so much. Now one has 3, one insists on having none, just grows up. Anyhow, they did fine, lots of new growth and they seem healthy (up until the "repotting incident")! Will see where they take me this summer!

Thanks for your advise and thoughts. I grew one from seed in the east of England and it grew in the garden outside, frosted in the winter only to return into life in the spring, it was around 12years old when we moved to sunny Pembrokeshire Wales, so I have no idea if it is still alive. I now have a plant that is a year old I have grown from seed, it is about a foot tall and has a side shoot near the bottom of the main stem, roots are fine and dandy, coming out of the bottom of the pot. I want to prune BUT dont know if I should, I would like to keep it in my house, I have under floor heating that is a constant 19C I would appreciate any advice. thank you.

My avocado is about 7 months old and that only leaf it had just fell off it only has these wierd white curled up leaves (I transplanted it a week ago and the roots are very healthy)

Hey sir!! I pruned my seedling and it grew another shoot straight up and a small branch under it ha!! So it’s still getting tall and skinny. Should I prune it on top again? Or let it rock?

Is there a method to cut the fruiting of the tree from 10 years to earlier? Or is that how long it takes for the tree to mature naturally

Im growing one but moving it to California from Arizona to save it... Too cold here in winter.. she is growing so tall... Just wondered if she was safe for travel?? Prune a little so no broken growth... Safe travel...

Thing about the indoor avocado is my trunk (?) seems so thin and frail for the amount of leaves and height. 20 inches tall (50cm) with 18 leaves while the trunk is thinner than a pencil.

I cut the entire stem with all the leaves off cause it was leggy and I want it shorter and bushier I'm worried it won't grow back now because they're are no leaves but I left 2 nodes

Is there any influence of the moon when you prune the ovacado? Some people talk about ascending and descending moon. Do i have to prune the avocado when the moon is acsending?
