You're my go-to-garden-guy! Always give such good advice. I really appreciate this video and also the one about the "24-hour drainage test" to fill hole with water to see if hole is ready to have a tree planted. It works great!

Thank you for the very informative videos! I live in Las Vegas and was searching for informative videos of gardening in hot, dry climates! Your videos have been the most helpful I’ve viewed.

I've got a bunch of peach trees and fig trees. It has been 92+F here for weeks, even as high as 100F. So I water daily and just keep the soil moist. It's a pain to bring back plants that are severely dehydrated and sunburnt, and so this works for my plants. I water daily for 30 seconds to 3 minutes depending on how dry the soil is. Each plant is indeed different.

Great advice for my new apple tree! Thank you for your detailed instructions. I like it when you said everybody has an opinion and you don’t know who’s opinion to follow. Your opinion and advice works.

Always very appreciated! Planting my first full garden this year and oh goodness I had no idea how intricate and comprehensive gardening is. From companion planting to nutrient specifics for each and every plant. I have learned a lot past few weeks and plan on continue learning all about every vegetable and fruit I'm growing. We just bought a house in South Carolina, so moving from Zone 4 in Ohio to zone 8 is a massive difference! We've recently added 6 fruiting trees and they're all needing specific things. I really appreciate you for taking the time to teach us for free. You're extremely knowledgeable and can explain it in a comprehensive and thoughtful way that I personally receive really well. I certainly appreciate you explaining it thoroughly and explaining why.

☝️ good to know. I give my new trees a drink every couple of days in the cool days and if I go an extra day it's OK. Hot days I pay closer attention to how the leaf look and weather they bounced back over night. It's a balancing act for sure.

There's got to be another way to check my plants without molesting them like that. 😂

Where are you located? Are you in desert weather here in Arizona? What is the brown stuff like, is it gooey or dry? Also, how old is your tangerine tree?

@@moniquemonicat I am in Arizona, I bought the tree this year, the brown stuff is dry. I don't know why I have white powder on the branches of my trees. Thanks for responding.
