Girl you said it! Follow the directions and respect the science! This leaving product for overnight or half a day is just crazy and lazy. I use Olaplex with my stylist with every relaxer and I am thriving. Even after COVID and the residual shedding from that fiasco my hair is still doing the DAMN thing. Great job!

Thank you so much Cyn. I was waiting to hear your opinion on the matter and you did not disappoint. I have the full range and it has transformed my natural 4c hair from damaged dull tangled mess to smooth and strong. I’m not going to lie, I was a bit heavy handed last wash day, so I’m going to use Olaplex clarifying shampoo next wash and may pass on the rest for that wash. As I prepare my hair for a relaxer in a few month I feel more confident knowing I have Olaplex. Thank you for all your info in general. Perfectly said cyn doll , but people will still find ways to not listen and quick to complain lol. I use 0,3,4,4C,5,6,8,9. I do not use them all the time. I use them for what's needed that week on wash day only. After being educated thoroughly on the products. I don't use that much of any product and don't leave it in long at all unless it's 6 or 9 for blow drying.

I’ve started using Olaplex (0,3,4,5) because of you back in September of last year. I’ve now used it 3 times the last time being last night and I have to say I’ve never noticed my hair so strong and full. I’ve had fine thin hair all my life which was lifeless and I barely get any shedding or breakage now thanks to Olaplex but I do have to say my hair never feels moisturized anymore no matter how much I chelate and deep condition. Why is that? Also my hair isn’t damaged I’m natural and use heat rarely.

Yes! I love that you stated a set pattern and routine. People be mad and confused out here but not following a structured routine. I started really investing in my hair during Covid era (3yrs ago) because I had a lot of time on my hands. What changed? I started washing my hair every 5-7 days instead of monthly and boom! I saw the change within weeks. My hair was now hydrated and moisturized, and I knew the difference, also I have minimal shedding and tangles. Just because your hair is soft doesn't mean that its moisturized! It can have a lot of buildup of silicones, oils and whatever else and perceived to be moisturized. Also, you must take the time to learn your hair and that takes patience and gentleness. My hair has grown expeditiously without let up because I adhere to a disciplined routine. I am confident in my decisions and now know when I may need protein, extra moisture mask or clarifying shampoo because I learned my hair. I appreciate your education of hair and products.

A lot of companies sell fake olaplex always check to see if the product is legitimate and not expired either. There are well known companies selling fake olaplex. This is very serious.

I was having the same problem you are having with the shedding. I have been using OlaPlex for over a year, eating right. I have thin hair, not too coarse, but still textured, but I have some medical issues. I started using Moroccan hair products that repair (repair shampoo, and conditioner. I alternate between them weekly and my shedding has completely stopped (but everyone’s hair is different). That’s all I use. I may use a little oil, but only on the ends and I only flat iron on wash day. just wanted to share.

Cyn thank you very much for the information about the purpose statement about using it the correct way in that it wasn't meant to be used on days of oil and moisturizer I had been using it that way and yesterday I washed my hair with just water and let it dry overnight and used the olaplex 0&3 then shampooed well let me tell you my hair has never felt so soft and moisturized I felt like I had an entirely new head of hair I had never been using it correctly before I'm so thankful for your information 💕💕💕💕💕💕

Something you said about hair still being alive sounded misleading, only the follicle is alive but all the hair cells are dead from what I understand. So if you damage hair that’s why it’s really hard to reverse without just regrowing it, although stuff like bonding treatments can help
