It would have been a wholly more satisfying episode if they played by the rules of blackjack while following the new addition of ages. Each player can see their own face down card. When they hit, they're trying to get as close to the limit number without going over. So if they're close, they won't hit. Also, with regular blackjack the limit isn't possible to go over with the original two cards, just by drawing.

If you want hit, you have to know whether or not you'll bust. 21 rules: look at your own cards. Only one shows to dealer and other players. You have to know your own leverage before bargaining with more cards.
