As a maccabi fans i admit maccabi didn't played well and pao won not because of the referees. Pao is a strong team and if we take out all the unnecessary things that have been said by pao there's a mutual respect between the teams, wish them the best. Im really proud of maccabi this season, the fans are a huge part of the club and wade Baldwin as well but they still managed to play smart and beautiful basketball, they played with their hearts. Next year we're waiting in TEL AVIV boyyyyyy

If you could play on your own home court, despite the already good home record, I believe you would be a top4 team easily. Certainly above Barcelona who is really subpar. During the entire series Maccabi was amazing and had us on edge.

For ex, serbian coaches are crazy about tactics they don't give enough freedom for star players. They love rotation.they are system nerds. Turkish mindset is much more focusing the overall perspective and managing the team not just by training but by player, human management, psychology, or about who does the things better maybe more than systematically team play. Not micro plays. for ex, native players always give their best yet loyal. and americans or black players are always skillfull so these factors are key points for ataman. He usually plays with who he trusts. and ataman is not a real rotation man he is more like 'if it works, don' t touch it' person which i find it right. Because you may break the the rhythm of a player and the team and finally these are human not robot. They can not do every single thing every single moment which is on your mind. And if one player is a star player you must give him the main role because it is finaly a simple game, if that player is on his day, he can change and win the match. Lastly ataman is graduated from istanbul university faculty of business adminstration and he used to work at his father's company that means he is good at managing things including people. He is much like a boss or manager rather than a training coach.

Hello there! This is a nice video and you analise it so well ! Although, Augustas, I have to say that you confused me ! First K Nunn deflects the ball,Panos gets the steal and the dunk. At the next Maccabi possesion Lorenzo Brown tries to post up Kalaintzakis and fails . Not the other way around as you explain in this video ! Nice Work though .

….. so PAO advanced…..Maccabi without Baldwin but PAO also without Nunn in the first 2 games he was actually playing with fever both games, without Ernagomez with serious respiratory problem kidney life threatening problem and knee problem, Grant has problem with his knee and he is on restricted minutes and without Sloukas in the 4th quarter of game 5 plus without Grigonis in all games and finally with just one guy in 5 playing 35 minutes…………..how on earth they advanced????…….i think if PANA played with full roster healthy the series even with Baldwin would have been 3-0…..

Maccabi was a better team all around, if Baldwin was on they would have won Ataman is not a real coach. He is a top level manager not a basketball coach though. Panathinaikos has no depth especially at Centers; if Nun (who is overrated) has a bad day game over.

Agreed that we need stronger position five,almost agree that ataman is firstly a good manager and secondly a coach, but about nunn i fully dissagree.The reason is that he is in top five scorers in the league in his first months.For example if you ever have watched wade in his first season in olympiacos with david blatt coaching,you will see that this great player was a turnover machine and couldnt handle his physical aggressiveness.Now after years is one of the greats in the league.Nunn only better could be when he understands more the european basketball.As about the game the answer is in the video.When panathinaikos decided to have in the court ballstoppers,then maccabi lost the concetration.I ve watched many games of maccabi and that is the major problem that has(including deffensive collaborations).Katash is very clever and will fix the problem for next season.
