i did the same 1 month ago, i just wanted to know if the market depth is real or fake, I place 36000 qyt (basket order 1800*20 ) at just rs 1 in option buying, it was immediate reflated in order book, then i immediately cancelled. then i realize market maker may do the same to fool you. But i did not know about this story you told. but sir I don't think it is market manipulation, it is the software false, software must show only equilibrium qty at market depth OR it should show all the market depth so everyone can see it not just 5 order/20 order.

It can never be zero. And even if it was it won't stay zero. It will bounce back. Stock market crashing won't change nothing. The world will not end if the stock market crash. Lots of people will have oportuntiies to make major bucks by buying stocks for super cheap. People shorting stocks will make a lot of money if the market crashes.

Due to this bigger quantity pending orders list the all other algos are following this order assuming the price will goes down then remaining algos punch the sell orders aggressively so price will fell

Because when algos see a huge sell orders in place, these algos initiate sell trades just below the resistance price. I have seen these happening when suddenly market changes its mood. All sell orders suddenly becomes buy orders.

I don't quite understand how this worked. If the orders were not getting executed, why would the stock prices fall?!? Normal retail investors don't check that often on which price how many orders are pending... and institutional investors don't care at all. So I don't see why there would be so much panic that the index fell 10% in 15 minutes!

many use simple algos to watch and catch the market...His algo created fake entries so that other algos got executed.

Still I don't understand if HFT is legal how come spoofing is illegal. I see a gap in this judgment if money go the retail portal they will make you under the BAR. i still don't understand, when his order was not executed, how the market crashed? because unless untill there is match between buy and sell, price is not going to move anywhere, neither up nor down. so how the market got crashed? if i put big basket order, say 1 lakh share to short at perticular price, there should be someone to buy at that price, then only price will move down. how come no order get executed and market crashed?? and if price came at lower level and order was modified, then clearly that man was not at fault.

If you have an idea of stoploss haunt and liquidation market then you can understand how this thing works.stock broker have complete detail about their client share position, stop loss ,pending order so called big players or politician have control on these detail from stock brokers so they manipulate share as their will creating stoploss and liquiation on the market.so what happened in this case is algo try excute his position to go down temporarily just to excute his position make him stop loss eventually

Because some firms were front running his trades coming though his broker. (Buying his brokers order flow) His orders would instantly cancel and there’s probably weren’t because they weren’t expecting someone to what all the big boys do, manipulate the market. Only reason this guy was arrested is because he wasn’t making money for a firm but taking it from them.

Bro thanks to share such a wonderful story 👍 In our indian stock market also there are big institution and operators play this game of orders buy and sell orders which they execute with themselves when they bring down the price of any stock to very low level , to show the public that even at this low price public actually doing buy and sell, they do with their groups cartels, for example take example of future Retail which is crashesd from 600 to 40 , but at 40 or 50 we don't date to buy it, because there were big buy and sell orders always getting executed and we think public is selling, but did anyone uses common sense that stock is sold at 250, 350, 600 range then who will get willing to sell his sticks at 40 or 50. When we put buy order to buy any stock I noticed the sell side price start inching upward as they see our big buy orders 😆 new investor try run to catch those prices 👀 here they catch the behaviour of buyer and accordingly cateegeries him, novice or experience trader and also our stock brokers , stock depository participants all make us naked in front of operator by providing him all details what we hold and not that they even know our income level , bank balance, monthly expenses and emi paid , finance market is very bad they soy everything. They are interconnected and inter Linked.
