Heres my opinion even though youve already heard it Nitro was good addition to the game, it was just too op. Ill take the example of afterburner, when it came out practically every single wr was taken by it, but no one complained, and thats because old strats were still reasonably close to the ab ones. The point im trying to make is, nitro was a nessacary afdition to the game, sadly the game cant stay the same forever, and it has to evolve. Although maybe nitro was given a little too much power which killed the pro community, it was the only option, and honestly, the community shouldve expected this to happen.

The actual only part the doesn't take any skill is only winter tires for that matter, nitro has to be timed well in order to use it for the max potential just like landing, js and oct, yes it is very strong and much stronger then it should be but it is not a bad part in terms of tactics, for a lot of vehicles it is used with something like wheelie or oct which are both more skill based parts so that doesn't make nitro bad, it just makes the tactic with other parts much faster and that was kinda the problem for a lot of players which is why I partially think mastery even exists, to fix this problem by improving the flaws of the cars and adding a 4th tuning part in hope for nitro be less controversial but by now it fairly accepted by most player It became a core part of the game like wings and js, and that isn't necessarily a bad thing

nitro added way more diversity and fun into the game and brought back some activity. as well, as it requires more skill than stuff like turbo and just overall, because you have 3 inputs which makes it harder, especially for nitro + js maps. if you cant cope with the game being updated and not staying in the same place (like for the last years before nitro was added), that's on you. stop shitting on this part and shoving your opinion to others 👍

Fair, im a nitro hater. Stopped enjoying the game when it came out, and I only just got back into the game recently. I would disagree on 3 inputs making it harder, in the sense that other methods of 2 inputs can still be hard. For example geometry dash, a 1 input game, has levels of difficulty i dont think hcr2 will ever reach. I do agree about people spreading the hate too much tho. Even if I don't enjoy nitro, im glad atleast others do. Dont gotta ruin it for everyone.
