I got in touch with riot developers and they said they are looking into buffing the build path for stormrazor so you are not double dipping on the shard component. Probably won’t happen on release but maybe in 9.4 or 9.5

i think deathdance is better mainly because 1. heals from true dmg (conquerer) 2. shiv does magic damage, with deathdance u can heal from it anyways 3. full build 40% cdr maybe sell tiamet then deathdance as 6th item?

Hey fogged don't you think you'll have too much waveclear with shiv + tiamat? You can just build shiv first like back in season 7 and then auto + spin and that's an auto cleared wave.

Shiv slowing Jax through his counterstrike is not a bug since its the lightning that slows him, not the autoattack. He blocks the autoattack normally bur does not counter the shiv proc

hey fogged can you try the same build except essence reaver you use triforce instead? I think you'd have better one shot potential with triforce. You would miss out on some crit but you'd get enhanced auto Also What do you think of running gunblade with shiv, hydra and stormrazor? The lifesteal would be pretty nuts

The Essence passive is better on champions that use their Ultimates at the start of the fight. Tryndamere uses his ultimate when he is low hp so it doesn’t work well with his kit

Essence reaver gives 25% crit, if you don't build it, you will not have 100% crit.

my thought was absolutely that domination secondary for ravenous hunter and taste of blood would be the way to go for runes then I was thinking shiv -> death's dance -> lucidity boots-> stormrazor -> essence reaver -> IE I think tiamat + shiv w/ new stormrazor is overkill on the waveclear lucidity + death's dance + ER gives 40% cdr going death's dance second item gives you a really strong early power spike I'm also only a lowly plat tryndamere, so maybe my ideas suck, and I don't have a PBE account, but I was wondering what your thoughts are. on going death's dance, and cutting tiamat out

I'm thinking the optimum build would be going death's dance instead of going ravenous hydra. Because you already have the insta-wave clear you need from the shiv, also death's dance gives you the lifesteal you need and also the heal from true dmg. And I think there's no point in buying essence reaver because they removed its unique passive (essence flare) right? you can just buy trinity force instead and enjoy all the benefits. what do you think?

Yuce Ozan I mean conqueror gives you true damage which is pretty good vs tanks. Also the stormrazor giving a 40% slow for 1 second can help you stick onto targets or auto+ spin away when you are kiting away

Would you test running fleet with Shiv Stormrazor Rageblade for faster shiv procs and good hybrid damage? The true damage you'd lose out on with no conq could be worthwhile with rageblade pen and having faster aoe magic damage with slows. Would also cover the lack of sustain in the build right now

Better than the old static? Nah, I was getting around 800 static shiv damage with the old school runes and masteries. Id' forgotten what I picked, but I used to use that page for tank tryn. Just get an IE and Static and that alone would get me around 800 HP static proc (not including crit damage) on a first hit crit.

You trade old PD skirmish survivability for damage. I think the changes are a buff to trynd overall. I'll be interested to see how they work on ADC's. We don't get the 35% free crit trynd does so most ADC's won't have the luxury of building something like Storm Razor early, but maybe after they reach 100% crit.

Can we take a moment to discuss how abysmally the Renekton played the lane vs Fogged's Trynd like ohmygod. If he didn't have jax to babysit, he would've gotten smacked like a step child. And his build early was horrid. Tiamat > tabi > youmuus >cleaver if you're a square and er(shojin) if you're not and from there more survivability xd
