Genius! Thank you for this! Why don’t you have an Amazon link! I want YOU to get credit for the sale they are about to get! Subscribed to your channel and can’t wait to watch more videos!

Thank you so much! I just spent an hour with two plyers and only got a couple of links off. This looks so much easier. I'm off to buy some chandelier plyers. YOu are the best!

Thanks for the video, I don’t have this tool but I did have snap ring pliers to open them and some wide mouth pliers to close them. Worked just fine 👍🏽

the fixture comes with 2 "open" links to attach length of linked chain to the light fixture itself AND the mounted "base" on the ceiling. In this instance, where I left to much chain on I simply hung the "open" link to that ceiling mount and "hooked" the appropriate link intertwined with the wire onto that open chain so it wouldn't be loose in a bunch gathered on the bottom where the lights are - and then one by one I pried open the "loose" links up top. After I removed the necessary links I double checked that the length looked good and then closed that upper link to finish it off. It looks great. I did it myself with a ladder - I'm sure you could tell my awesome camera skills ;)

Thank you for informing us ladies about this tool but your video did not clearly show how the tool works. Looks like you're still struggling. Also they cost about $18.00 on Amazon at present. Also would have been nice to include the link or model #
