Joachim Clausen Hansen dont you think in other parks there are shapers too? Those parks just don’t have the money to make a video about it!

@@Nanaminanamin My local place to ride is Åre, sweden. Yes we have shapers and yes our park could definitely be worse. But after coming back from a two week trip to Whistler I must say that these bigger and more well known places really have a strict scheme when it comes to shaping. These guys are out all day fixing shit up. You can always expect a smooth feature!

@@Nanaminanamin There are just resort which care more or care less for park riders... For example at St. Anton in Austria, they have awesome powder and slopes but dont have the biggest or best park. LAAX is really up there with the best in the world for park

Understandable that some smaller Resorts are closing their parks. It's just a shit ton of effort to keep them in shape and honestly not a lot of people ride them, especially the big/difficult features. Of course Laax is a different story. People go there just for the park alone. But with other resorts people just wanna be on the slopes and don't care about the park unfortunately.
@ThingsAreGonnaGetSporty5 жыл бұрын
Jeremy Stig I think it’s also that some resorts build their parks too big with no progression at all so most riders will just try the beginner features and give up or get decent at them and be too afraid to hit the large ones.

This is the case in my home resort in Switzerland we used to have a park with L sized kickers, rails, and more advanced features but now we either dont get a park at all or we get a small park with 2 or 3 small jumps and and few boxes
@ThatSB3 жыл бұрын
@@ThingsAreGonnaGetSporty exactly this. So many places build small jumps and huge jumps. Small rails and giant gap on kinks

If you always remove snow from the features then the trail will rise and the features will sink. In my experience it seems sometimes you can remove snow but at some point you will adjust things and let the features grow. Maybe if you are in an area with little snowfall then it's not a problem.
