So bad that season was interrupted due to Corona. Great job. Thanks
I skied every Friday night with snow at Snoqualmie Pass for 10 years. Sometimes it was a foot of fresh wet snow with an inch of crust. You don't turn in the snow. Your tracks look like hash marks. Some nights we were the only ones on the hill and we chased the ski patrol. A groomed hill is really enjoyable and a whole lot of people have a lot of fun because of those groomers. Iguana

Consider the insane ski prices in the US....
@dadcanufixit4 жыл бұрын
@Chase Leibowitz The infrastructure has to come from somewhere. The roads to the resort only exist because of the resort. The first aid and medical teams have to be on station. The whole place exists to ski. You get what you pay for.
@mtadams20094 жыл бұрын
@@dadcanufixit Its set up now for season passes. I have a pass at Killington Vt and purchase early 1000.00 which is reasonably. If you purchase a lift ticket for a day or two I think the price is insane. For those of us who have the virus skiing is not an option, its a way of life and who we are, I was born to ski, so is my daughter. She is smart and moving west, I will follow.
@dadcanufixit4 жыл бұрын
@@mtadams2009 It's even harder for some who live in countries that have no snow or resorts for skiing. In these cases we have travel and accommodation expenses on top of ski passes. Its even worse when illness robs you of any opportunity to indulge in your passion. I envy those that live close enough to the mountains that they can travel in and out for a day.

Ever since Vail bought up one of our local resorts they like to take our dollars and spend it at their high end resorts, I say this because since their take over they’ve cut the number of qualified groomer drivers and left us with ones that will leave basically a curb down the middle a run. You’ll go from making big GS turns then out of nowhere hit one of these 4” curbs, or like yesterday we decided to go up because it was supposed to be warm and sunny, and thought we could go ride some fresh groomers to strengthen our legs for the powder days. But they seen the weather forecast and thought since we groomed yesterday, we’ll just do a couple tracks on each chair instead of their typical groom everything daily.
