His move to PSG, this was a move that was expected to somehow resurrect his career and help him return to top form after being plagued with so many injuries at Barcelona, and he's done a good job so far at PSG staying fit and he hasn't ended up in Hospital FC just yet, that's a start, and while he struggled initially there, in recent games Ousmane Dembele has been playing well. For me PSG's new front 3 of Kylian Mbappe Randal Kolo Muani and Ousmane Dembele have yet to click especially in the champions league and those 3 French attackers need to be on the same page if they are to actually have success in the champions league this season and while Dembele has been playing better lately, I haven't seen any impact from him in the champions league. His performances at PSG, without injuries have been the same old same old, causes havoc and problems for opposing defenders as he's dangerous on the right wing, once again his end product is very inconsistent poor finishing and bad decision making at times, but it's great that Luis Enrique is backing him because he knows what he offers to the team from an attacking perspective. So far, I've been impressed with how Ousmane Dembele hasn't gotten injured yet at PSG, but at 26 we need to see this talented baller realize his full potential sooner or later because if not he'll be seen as a wasted talent who was ruined because of injuries and the problem for him hasn't always been ability, because I've said it many times, excellent player but he's just not consistent and he's just a great example on how talent alone doesn't always cut it at this level as he's a what if and just imagine him if he was more professional and less injury prone.

Ousmane Dembele is one of the most talented players I've ever seen and whenever he has the ball at his feet, he's dazzling always takes on his fullback has electrifying pace and dribbling and he can use both foot to shoot the ball and dribble and he's comfortable on either flank of the wings left or right but since that ridiculous season with Borussia Dortmund where had what 10+ goals 20+ assists at just 20 years of age, he's been up and down and something is stopping him from reaching his potential. His time at Barcelona just didn't work out and when they signed him it was during the same summer where Neymar joined PSG for 222 million and everybody thought that Ousmane Dembele was a direct replacement for him. He had big shoes to fill and he absolutely flopped there and some of it was down to the pressure he had in replacing Neymar, but his time at Barcelona, he became more of a mockery there and that was because of his consistent injury problems, he spent 6 seasons there played half/missed half of their available games the injuries he was picking up were serious and recurring as well which saw him miss too many games. There were question marks about his attitude professionalism and discipline and his teammates grew frustrated and he had poor timekeeping playing video games not taking his career seriously and constantly being late to training. Even when he played, he was very inconsistent barely had a run of good performances and the highlight of his Barcelona career has to be his miss against Liverpool in the champions league semifinals first leg where they were up 3-0 and he had a clear chance at goal yet kicked it straight to Alisson and we all know what happened in the second leg. His end product was also questionable his decision making in the final third was an issue as he was erratic always doing the great work on the wings, but not enough impact after that and we saw it time and time again. There was a period where nobody at Barcelona wanted him, they tried to get rid of him and they even tried to banish him to the stands for the entire season and he was booed by the fans as well, but once Xavi took over as their manager, Ousmane Dembele was rejuvenated and found good form in the second half of the 2021/22 season where he had 13 assists in the league despite missing a lot of games earned a new contract and last season he was incredible for most parts of the season, but in the second half of the season, same story as what he was all about at Barcelona, good form then got injured again and missed more games and his departure to PSG shocked me, because he was doing so well, I don't know if this was a decision related to money or him wanting to go back to France, his Barcelona departure wasn't taken lightly by the fans. I rate his time at Barcelona 5/10 because with all of that money they paid for him, we just didn't see the best out of him and it's not even his inconsistency in terms of his performances, he was always unavailable and the injuries really ruined his career there.

Ousmane Dembele was actually far more talented than Mbappe at one point before his injuries plagued his career at Barcelona. When fit then no question he's unplayable but that was few times at Barcelona. Let's not forget, he's a World Cup winner with his national team. Right now, he's still fit at PSG but his end product leaves a lot to be desired. Plus he's with his compatriots Mbappe and Kolo Muani and they're yet to fully gel at PSG. Can Dembele revive his career and show the world why he's one of the best players in the world at PSG? Time will tell.

His numbers aren’t that great, but he was pretty good when healthy at Barcelona last year. Idk, he’s definitely not a super star when it comes to goal scoring volume. But at Barcelona he would find space really easily, and he could get past defenders really easily. I think that’s his biggest attribute. Last year it was him constantly assisting. I think his problem at the moment is he’s being given the Messi role or a more direct attacking role where’s he expected to try and shoot. He’s actually got a really good two feet on him, but he’s just not that clinical, so I think he should probably stick to using his lighting quick feet to get past defenders and cutting back. That’s what he say gave the best results last year. Managed to get past the fall back but cutting in and out and then he would put in a cross which somehow always got on someone’s head or foot. Either way, his potential was extremely high, but it’s been obviously limited due to his injury proneness. -which he won’t fix, it’s guaranteed he’ll get injured each season, or he’ll try to sit out to not get injured which end up with him not playing all possible games, or at least a majority of games in a season.
