Targeting younger, hungrier players, the Rossoneri have built a squad the envy of world football which seem to be establishing Milan as an Italian powerhouse once again.

Real Madrid and AC Milan were arguably the 2 best teams in the world back in the early to mid 2000s; We need those times back because I cant witness English dominance anymore.

Respect. And it is obviousely the same from us too. If you have to name one club per major championship with the strongest and best european history, you already have them: Real Madrid for Spain, Milan for Italy, Bayern Munich for Germany and Liverpool for England. Such huge matches were played between these teams, so many legendary names went through them. Ac Milan are not quite at the level of these clubs right now, but they are bouncing back. I like how Historic club like AC Milan, Ajax and Benfica have all adjusted to stay competitive ( Or become competitive again) by turning to smarter recruitment and better financial management. I do hope Milan return to their past glory in 2-3 years' time. They are in a period of cutting debt and rebuilding for now. Patience is the key to this project

Benfica is a different story pal, they owner takes almost everything out of the club the key reason they stay so competitive however is due to how poor the league is. Ajax i'm acc looking forward to, they are keeping their best players and under Ten Hag I think they can be outside winners for the UCL this season with a golden generation this decade

Very good video, but not great considering 2 aspects. 1) Leao has also been a revelation this season, he should be mentioned. 2) XG and expected points to tell the story of Milan at all. Milan doesn't try to play all out vs mid,low table teams rather they try to score and manage the game to spend few energies especially considering the harsh UCL group. If small teams grind xg in the last 20-30 minutes of the game because they are w goals down doesn't make much difference does it?! Sure sitiations like Sassuolo or Udinese happen where the xg conceded is totally deserved but that isn't the norm.

What a legend. In the 1980s he was already instrumental (with Baresi) in taking Milan from chaos to worldwide acclaim. They were in an even more desperate state in 2019, yet Maldini has accomplished so much already. A man with loyalty, dignity and competence. It is not easy to make the transition from club legend to backroom: Nedved for example is a legend for Juve fans, but as part of the staff he's been responsible for a lot of bad decisions.

Immediately, AC milan need an experienced centre attacking midfield and a center defense midfielder, will play with Tonali, and every midfielders should build up a chemistry of center attack as like as side attack. Us Milan fans are starting to get some pride back with this current team. Rafa Leao, Sandro Tonali and Theo have been excellent so far this season. Long may it continue and we keep unearthing young talent on a budget. We can be proud we have a club that practices what it preaches. AC Milan's new glory days are yet to come, trust me! It won't be long till we see them lifting trophies again, most of all, the 8th UCL! Mark my words, 2 or 3 more years and you'll see the results! I'd only wish they abandon the idea of moving to a completely new stadium (I don't care how modern and prestige it would be), when they could buy out San Siro only for themselves and renovate it just the way Real Madrid are doing. Let the new stadium be for Inter and bring San Siro (again) only for Milan - make it super-modern, even if it costs as much as building a new one from a scratch - you don't ruin down such a monument as San Siro!

This Milan squad can finish top 4 with ease. There are some truly outstanding players in the squad. However, after the first 11, the squad is very threadbare. So they won’t do anything in the CL or win serie A for a few years.
