10:24 - This is what WE NEED. I am fed up with CA not confirming anything for this and giving us this small scale setting. Because trust me after this game is done forget another game on this scale being made on the Bronze age ever again.

Fazzoretto, tell me this: Why did 90% of the hype die down for this game when the campaign map was revealed? Because fans ALL over the discord, reddit all expressed the same thing: It was disappointing that the map didn't extend to the Cradle of Civilisation or to Greece. I remember reading one fan saying: I didn't buy this game to play Egypt vs Egypt, I brought the game to play Egypt conquering Greece. From my arguement it may seem like I'm against small scale when I'm not. I personally love the Napoleon Penisular Campaign DLC where I play as the French and attempt to kick Wellington out of Spain. Brilliant DLC. But replayability wise, it is a mini campaign designed for that era. Unforunately Pharaoh feels a lot like this to a degree, the scope IS THERE. But it's not being expanded and I don't want to feel like I have to wait for ANOTHER game to expand the map. Adding Mesopotamia is like 20 regions. Just expand the campaign map a little bit. If Cathay and Nippon could be added I am not seeing the arguement especially when CA UK is one of the biggest game studios in the UK that managed to figure out the Warhammer problem with Immortal Empires.

I will say this though it may be a bit contro. TWP needs Greece and Mesopotamia and this must become a prevailing thought. Why am I saying this? It's simple. Unless we see the numbers not dropping, people want a bigger TW game. That's the unfortunate truth. If you played Empire TW on the scale of Age of Charlemagne, no one would want to play it. It's too boring to keep replaying the same campaign time and time again. Pharaoh's scope is essentially Napoleon's Egyptian and Italian campaign style. When you cover the Bronze Age, you're not supposed to cover a small slice of the era, you're covering from Greece to Mesopotamia. I will feel disappointed if I paid 90 USD or £90 just to get a few additional lords. And don't give me the excuse that adding Mesopotamia will suddenly increase the turns and it will be too cumbersome. People said the same thing about Warhammer about adding Araby, Cathay or Ind would increase turn times and provide a whole host of technical issues. TWP NEEDS these two regions if it needs to increase player numbers and that's the truth. Otherwise, are we going to see a Babylon TW? No. It won't happen given how the reaction of this community was too harsh and way too unfair for this game. Empire TW would not be where it is because it succeeded with its gigantic scope, not its campaign which was really barebones. If Rome II had only Rise of the Republic as the only sequel to Rome total war, people would get bored playing the same thing time and time again because the scope is small. Don't get me wrong, I love TW. I love replaying older total war games all the time. But we need big. Small will not work - Pharaoh is essentially a mod at this point in one way or the other with that scope and the best example is Tsardoms total war. That focuses on Greece, Italy and the Balkans. That's gigantic but much smaller. Hence, I want Pharaoh to be expanded. Give us Greece, give us Mesopotamia, and 75% of the 'bronze age boring' will go away.
