My husband did the same thing with our older son years ago..."if you're not going to follow the rules of our home or treat us with respect you can leave". At the time as the mother I thought he was being mean...I felt awful when our stubborn son left...well, our son realized what he was doing and saying and regretted leaving home and now he's a responsible married man and accepted Jesus as his Savior...I am so grateful.

Back in 1968 I was in the Navy with Fleet Training Group at Pearl Harbor. The New Zealand Navy came in for training at Pearl Harbor. They had me aboard their destroyer for Sunday dinner. They had an American NFL football game on TV, and had all kinds of questions for me! Why are they all wearing crash helmets? Why do they keep changing all the players? Why do the have all the padding everywhere? Why are there so many extra players? They thought it was a sissie game. Rugby teams have just a couple of extra players. No helmets or pads. No offensive and defensive teams. If more than two players are injured and out of the game, they play with less players!

I was a democrat all my life as was everyone in my family. Today we are all republicans. My 88 year old Mom told me yesterday she will never go back to voting democrat until she is dead. She said the democrat party is the party of the communist. Her family came here legally from a communist country. Back then when her family stepped foot on American soil they called themselves American's. They went so far as to change their last name so they fit in better. I wish we would get back to being American's and Loving our Lord again. Thank you Phil and your son's for bringing the word of our Lord into my house.

Brothers, I think you may be uninformed! I grew up in Arkansas, back in the 1950's, and there were country radio stations originating out of Fort Smith even back then. That was a real link for us, we could even pull in WSM out of Nashville then, and we did. We left Northwest Arkansas in late 1957 for 6 years, then returned to Van Buren, which is right across the Arkansas River from Fort Smith. Now, we've lived in North Central Florida since 1967. I got married in 1963 and we had one son, and almost 41 years of marriage before he passed over to the other side in 2004. It has been a hard journey getting through that loss, but God has been there so we're doing fine. We have our struggles, but who doesn't? It's just something we have to get through.

God predestined those to be saved before creation of the world. At some point in the life of those that are predestined, He "calls" them, then justifies them, sanctifies them and then when you die, God will glorify you after you are raised from the dead. God blesses the Robertsons with a steady flow of believers to be baptized because they don't interfere with the work of God by setting up manmade obstacles to baptism. They just get it done right here and right now. They don't save, they just obey.
