Im impressed by your insights of the filipinos simple lives and how it changes your view of what kind of life you wanted and you find it in the provinces or remote areas where simple beauty of the nature lies therein. I guess Philippines is now your home.

How you philosophize life in Europe (and in the West in general) and the rural Filipinos hit me hard! So true. As one grows older, one longs back to the joys of the simple things in life such as undisturbed nature and its healing attributes, peace (with oneself, with one another, and with God), and family and belongingness become the only wealth that matters!
@SusieinthePhilippines2 жыл бұрын
I agree we need to experience to realize these! I had completely different thoughts about ideal life even just a few years ago!

About time a vlogger showcase the hidden gems of the North... I would often wonder why the North would not get as much attention as the South. The South have world class beaches but I guess the North is the Philippines' best kept secret... fairly unexplored and untouched. The North's temperate mountain weather and woodlands contrast nicely with the sunny South. We from the North are lucky to have as our champion. Cheers! By the way, I love your 'editorials' about finding happiness in the most simple things. Thank you for reminding us that the Philippines is indeed s beautiful country.

Philippines has varieties of landscapes and vibes ... Filipinos don't have much but they are kind - respectful and helpful. I was wondering when a country become rich - people tends to off course and forget others. Maybe life should be this way ----- living less but happy !

Also very nice older vlogs wen her friend visited from Hungary wen she (friend) was living in Japan. It’s good to get the channel views up! Helps the algorhtymn, I guess?! One of my passions are aquariums. I love exploring mountain streams, because they usually have rare species of fish, plants, snails, etc. My dream is to make an ecosystem aquarium of our native species (barbs, gobies, etc.). Not the introduced ones (tilapia, guppies, carp, etc.).

@Angry Kittens Hello AK, Did you see a big bird passed behind Susie, not flying but walking on the ground around 11:55 time marker? Was that a Filipino Turkey, looked too small maybe…but too big for a pheasant? Does anyone know? Or maybe Susie has more footage of it….
