I fully agree about the ase part because when it appeared fruit's economy was destroyed and fruit's became very cheap. Because of that game lost the one piece experience like in one piece devil fruits are rare and they were rare in gpo. But ase just made them basic things and even legendary's that at update 3.5, 4 and bellow were treated very valuable nowtimes leg fruits are all basicly trash and only magu and pika are beeing treeted at least at mid value. And when the Legendary's price fell lower than ground phoeyu thought that it was great idea to add mythic chests to game which made even mythic's be like something normal. Also cyborg showed how p2w game can be because i saw my friend's spend 10k on it to get it and didn't obtain it. Cyborg does Massive ammounts of damage and is best fighting style in whole game. In my opinion phoeyu used basic strategy. 1 step was to create a game and sell it eventually adding new content. When content ammount was enough he made game free and added a lot of new donate stuff (Ase too). And current step he is just adding more and more features that you can get for robux only. The game is becoming something like developer or rich ppl place where robux = everything.

As someone who has 3 ASE's currently without spending a dime on them and just grinding, I still find the 10% dmg increase to be genuinely unfair to players trying to obtain an ASE, Legendary Chests are one of the best trading items in the game which means that if u get enough you can eventually trade for an eye after getting some good adds with legendary chests, so with Phoeyu making it so its hard for people who are F2P to get chests he is effectively gatekeeping the ASE behind other ASE's meaning its now gonna be even harder to get an ASE unless you already have one, and if you say to use a Private Server, not everyone has one and most people aren't willing to spend the money and will stick to publics

The buff was really needed for a seeing eye since the factory is a thing now. You can farm factory for chests and because of that fruit has become much cheaper than before. Making 2x logia and a guaranteed legendary chest for battle royale win for ASE is seen a lot cheaper because now you can get a legendary fruit guaranteed just by doing factory. The effect of ASE is not worth 200$ anymore, so making a buff on ASE could make it seen more worthy to be a 200$ game pass.

I’m a free to play and the fruit bag being paid only was a major pay to play hurdle when I first started playing. I’ve found legendary fruits in public servers and dungeon that I had to give away or discard because I already had a devil fruit equipped and nowhere to store the ones I found. I’m glad that there’s fruit chests now that you can get instead and can be stored in the inventory. (They are also the reason I was able to eventually trade for a spare fruit bag.)

I remember when I was playing with my friends, and we found a bomb, We got so excited because we did not have devil fruit notification. I remember farming boats with my friends. I was using black leg one of my friends was using bomb, one was using sword style, and the lucky one was using mera (The others were mostly using black leg a sword style, but there was one guy with fishman karate.) I really miss that time because now the updates are very underwhelming and not fun enough, but what I really miss are my friends ... ASE affect great kraken fruit drops, great kraken farming is the best way to farm mythicals. With ASE you're over 2.5x more effecient than someone without ASE, mythical fruits are worth alot, plus ASE affects getting legendary/mythicals from rare chests or mythicals from legendary chest I'm pretty sure

My initial complaint with this update was the addition of mythical chests. You literally have to pay $50 for them. For me, that screams pay to win. You are paying money for this chest that gives you an advantage not only in PvE, but also in PvP over other players. Then, after buffing the All Seeing Eye, it further pushes the idea that Phoeyu wants the game to be more pay to win.

If the ASE addition wasnt clear enough that the game is P2W, with Update 8 now has Mythical Chests for 2k robux + 15 Legendary chests, so now you can like, buy Hoverboards and trade for Leg chests, then trade for a Mythical chest

For me it’s incredible that an item that cost $200.00 USD is value so low in game (it fucked up trading in first place). Reposting a comment that I agree with: "The buff was really needed for a seeing eye since the factory is a thing now. You can farm factory for chests and because of that fruit has become much cheaper than before. Making 2x logia and a guaranteed legendary chest for battle royale win for ASE is seen a lot cheaper because now you can get a legendary fruit guaranteed just by doing factory. The effect of ASE is not worth 200$ anymore, so making a buff on ASE could make it seen more worthy to be a 200$ game pass."

I don't see how the 10% damage boost on npcs for ase is pay to win, considering it doesn't work on slime cores anyways. Even if you don't have ase, you can just get champion for an 8% npc damage boost, or alt farm for immortal title, which gives 15%. Btw alt farming arena wins isn't bannable, but if you reach top 3 in leaderboards (requirement for a reward each update) you just won't get a reward. As you said in the video, the ase buff is just more convenient. It just helps you kill npcs quicker. It's not like it gives more damage against players. So I don't see how the ase buff is pay to win.

Yall are talking about the 10 dmg boost as if it's the only thing ASE does. Not only does it 2x legendary and mythical rates (that stacks with 2x rates weekends) and not only does it notify you of fruit spawns, but it's a $200 dollar item that is one of the most valuable obtainable items in the game, meaning you can trade it for nearly anything and then some. Dude, the fact is that the P2W system runs MUCH deeper than you think. Let's start with a simple one: You are an ordinary player who started playing solo because GPO became free, you became the maximum level, you have a leg style or 1SS, there are no fruits and any expensive things. You go to the second sea, as there are more bosses and a better chance to get something valuable. You understand that in almost all events you can't do anything because you don't even have a fruit, and you are constantly being killed by stronger players because you are playing on a public server and you don't have money for private. Then you realize that you can't do anything, you go to farm KK or SB, you get a fruit, but you realize that you don't want to eat it, and you can't save it because you don't have an Fbag, you throw it into the water and realize that you are in complete despair. You literally have nothing to do, you can't farm bosses since you're on a shared server, you can't farm ships for the same reason. You still want to continue playing, but you can't, and if you don't have friends with private or acquaintances with private, you just won't do anything, you are forced to buy private with such gameplay, as well as Fbag. And that's how you become a P2W player, there are a lot of such players, I'm 120% sure of it

Unfortunately, I couldn't enjoy playing the old GPO where your max lvl was 175. But I started playing when they added 2 sea. And those times were just great, not only did I start the game when I didn't know anything about it, but I also started playing with my friends, it was a great time when we explored the game, didn't understand anything, and were very scared when we swam into Rough water. A little later, when we all reached max lvl together, an update was released, by that time we still had none of the 3 fruits. But we were playing and having fun. Now the game has completely turned into a trading simulator. And it really upsets me, because now the players no longer enjoy the game. W. All seeing eye has risen in value. Now it will be even harder for me to achieve all seeing eye even with me have mochi and tori. I strongly regret my decision of taking a bet of opening a mythic chest instead of trading it, because I got a tori from it. I’m so happy I wasted 3.5k robux. Such a nice update.

Pay for convenience is essentially the same as p2w, You're still getting an unfair advantage over someone that is completely f2p for example the private servers. You'd have a less chance of finding a fruit in a pub because of the people but in privates like you said, it was easy.
