Welcome back to another day in the life of a pilot.
Today you join me as an airline long haul pilot in the cockpit of the Airbus A330 and I'll guide you through what it takes to cross the Atlantic in regard to communication!
On this flight we took off in Frankfurt international airport EDDF on runway 25C and flew over the Atlantic to Orlando International Airport KMCO.
In this video I'll show you how an aircraft stays connected to Air Traffic controller even in remote areas like the Atlantic Ocean!
If you have question in your head like:
What is CPDLC?
What is SATCOM?
What is ADS-B?
What is ADS-C?
Do planes use HF or VHF ?
How to communicate during an Emergency?
Then this video is for you!
As always sit back and enjoy!
