Yes Pascal. Love seeing you talk us through the SIDS and STARs. Please make more videos like this.
@Manuel-ok4jh9 ай бұрын
Hello Pascal, the change of route from KATOK to BETIR this time and every other time was the decision of the San Juan control, even though it is true that entering through KATOK means arriving just in the opposite direction of the departures, the STAR KATOK1W is properly separated from all the other departures from PUJ because the PC101 fix constrain is at 8 thousand feet or higher, this point is right on the coastline. On another note, we love to give shortcuts when you come from BETIR, so always as long as it is possible for us, once you check in and if we receive the corresponding release from SJU before entering the FIR, a direct AGNAL from your current position will be the norm. At PUJ we work in a single runway configuration, for which the final compression is adjusted, for this reason we sometimes use the speed control at RIKIK, for the heavy ones, we try not to use more than 170/160kts, I hope this does not represent drawbacks, by the way we like to see those short visual approaches so don't stop requesting them.

Thanks for the detailed explanation! It's always interesting to learn more about air traffic control decisions. I will definitely keep requesting them visuals 😅🙌✈️ Thanks for sharing your expertise mate ✌️

How can some people say pilots just turn on the autopilot and do nothing, seriously!! Always interesting to see how things work and what you guys do. 2:23 was my favorite part, super cool to watch that!! Thanks for the great content as always 🙌

L.G. Max(Dein zukünftiger Kollege💙✈️💛)
