It's really amazing for me to watch this right now. I've recently been able to visit Pixar Animation Studios due to a program I'm in (this is really cool because this is a really rare opportunity) and my tour guides were really impressed by my enthusiasm and knowledge of Pixar. This I must thank to you Ben and John because I have learn a lot from you guys and to have been able to share all that with them and talk through it was a really amazing thing because I look up to them and you guys. I also mentioned you guys on my trip there as a way to let them know I learned this from you. I just thought I should share this with you guys because you guys helped me gain knowledge. A Bugs Life was the one that really made me take notice of Pixar. Cars drove home the difference of the storytelling ability of Pixar as it's very difficult to have the emotional connection of normally inanimate object that Pixar has repeatedly done.

Michael Eisner was also in a extreamly heated negotiations with J.K. Rowling at the time, and was convinced that he could afford to not renew Pixar at the cost of getting Harry Potter. BUT! J.K Rowling stuck to her guns demanding creative control over the writing, production, casting, and almost everything...something disney HATES having to do...last time they had someone this head strong over a property was Walt with P.L. Travers character, Mary Poppins. Because of J.K's heavy demands, Eisner lowballed her...like gave a embarrassing low offer...AND Warner Brothers did the opposite, not only offering a BUTT LOAD of cash, but agreed to ALL of her demands. Losing Harry Potter, added on with the way they have been treating Pixar was extremely upsetting for the shareholders and it was enough to give Eisner the boot. So Bob Iger's first action in the new position was resigning Pixar and working on mending that relationship. oh...Disney was also extremely close to gaining the rights to adding Harry Potter to their Disney Parks, but once again, people at Disney did not listen to any of J.K.'s demands and was not negotiating well...so she LITERALLY went to the Universal studio's, said who she was, asked to speak with the president of the company, and they made a deal with pen to paper three days later...bring Hogwarts and the Wizarding World of Harry Potter to Florida and California.

Fun fact: Pixar veteran storyboard artist Robert Lence was our Toy Story 3 "Head of Story" at Circle 7...along with many other Pixar vets. There were some people who managed to read the script of "Monster Inc. 2 Lost in Scaridise" had said that the story itself had a a lot of potential. Granted though the titled could've use some work, but when looking at concepts of it I would agree that the story did have potential. A really nice idea for a video in the topics of Pixar vs. Disney back in the 90s is the story on what Disney wanted Toy Story to be like storywise. With Woody being really mean and kinda douchy to the point of even Tom Hanks mentioning it and how everything evolved to the film we actually see. It's so interesting, because it's totally different from what John Lasseter and Steve Jobs originally wanted and to what Disney actually wanted too. It's broadly discussed even on Steve Jobs 2011's memoir with it's own chapter, that's how important it is.

So in an interview with the creator of Kingdom Hearts he said that the newly announced Toy Story world is can within the Toy Story movie timeline. It happens after Toy Story 2 and before 3.
