Hi Ernie, first time watching a video of yours 🙌 Definitely got to watch the whole thing and payed atention at every word you said. I mean it. Nowadays, seems like the KZbin meta is having talks while having "talks". And this video I came across surely did have a true and honest message (at least thats my perception) that I can apreciate. 🍔 Honestly I am in a similar boat of the people you were talking about. I think I bit off a bit more than I can chew. I was planning on investing but it snowballed into making out credit cards. I am at a point where I could easily sell off at 80% and clear the debt but I want to catch 90% if I can. A lot of it is collection boxes. I tried vending my first time last week. It was awful. I was in the back of a 200+ table show. The vendors near me all said this was their worst show they have ever done. Anyway, great video. Love to hear other peoples takes. I subbed. Hope you keep up with your viewpoints and I'll keep watching.

Alright so this is gonna be long because i was just ranting in the comments about pokemon resellers. So i’ve been reselling used/ new electronics and media mostly part time on ebay for 6 years. It got me through college and now i have a 9-5 and still do it on the side. My margins have always been pretty high because usually id buy from thrift stores or facebook and at the worst make 25% profit on my lowest item, some 100%+ depending on what it is, but on average at the end of the year it’s about 50%. My girl is a pokeman fan and wanted to start collecting because she played the games as a kid. We started playing tcg pocket and getting into it, and this past month i’ve dove deep into youtube and online and spent a couple hundred on some boxes and packs for christmas. Anyway my point is i agree i dont know what the point of reselling is unless you make content and sell a lot of volume, because 15% or less margins is almost restaurant margins which are dog shit. This one video i watched this guy did 2.3 million in sales, and said he HOPES to profit $300k. That’s 13% at the best which for him is great because of the volume…but like you said the average reseller is most likely doing less than 100k in sales right….so you’re really not profiting anything 💀 You might as well get a part time job at mcdonalds (that’s a joke.). Anyways since i have a reselling background im trying to just resell to breakeven for boxes i get. Right now im trying to sell 3 crown zenith sea and sky boxes on facebook but not getting any bites really. I plan on just collecting with my girl for fun and trying to not spend all my money because it is a pricy hobby lmao, and maybe one day when im bored of it just sell it off and be done with it. There’s more lucrative business ideas worth my time imo but to each their own. Also 🍔

@@GuacSause I think people get enamored by it’s a fun hobby AND you can make money. They put too much value on the fun part and don’t think about how hard you have to work and scale to make a decent paycheck. Good points all around!

Why are the hyper rare golds not the most valuable? and I noticed the stackable tins have a garenteed hit. Do you think this will be the most valuable sealed product later on? Was that done purposely by the Pokemon company to make it more difficult to have a big inventory of valuable sealed product? lol sorry just some things I been thinking about
