I love using physical carries in genshin since Razor was my first ever dps. I got him in the beginner banner alongside Beidou and Bennett. I actually chose him to be my main dps when I watched videos of many youtubers talk about how good he is. He carried me through a good chunk of the game even though I had not so good artifacts because good gladiator artifacts were very hard to get. I was quite fond of using him alongside Hu tao for most of the events and abyss. I'd say he's a very solid unit. I got a c4 Razor myself. I only stopped using him when the abyss was full of those ruin guards and when I got Eula. Even though my favorite physical carry is Eula, I still got a soft spot for my boy Razor who was there for me during the early portion of the game.

I like Razor because he hits really really fast. His attacks are sped up even more during his burst. But, there are some enemies like the ruin machines (high resistance to physical) or the fatui (elemental shields) that he isn't _that_ effective.

Ningguang can simply dish out 150k-200k (C6) every burst+charge atk rotation with only 40 ER cost with only 4 star weapon and good artifacts. She would only need Zhongli and Pyro res + Bennet and stand in Benny's burst the whole time. There is a good reason why she is always referred as "Secretly 5 star unit". Get your 6th constellations in the shop next month.

I've heavily invested into using Bennett as a main DPS with just xingqiu I can hit 100+ k with his burst and his elemental skill can hit 60-80k inside his burst. I have him C6 and I saved wishes since the zhongli rerun so I could pull mistsplitter.

@@mlefun1303 His C6 unlocks a lot of damage potential, especially since I pulled mist splitter. C6 only effects physical characters. But I use him as a main DPS hitting 100k-200k per elemental burst depending on mistsplitter stacks and 50k-150k per elemental skill (Vaporize/Melt to do it of course). The team I use is Diona, Xingqiu, Bennett, and Ganyu (as a support/sub DPS) I like having my main DPS on 3.

But Sara will be quickly benched once Ganyu's rerun is here. Then I will be running Eula/Baal/Ganyu/Jean. I have so few rolls made in total because I have been saving since Eula's banner (and I created the account during her banner) to secure 4 pities for guaranteed Baal and Ganyu. Have secured 3 so far, and I believe, will have enough once Ganyu drops.

He is friendly for low spenders also, Serpent spine is amazing, specially if you can use a shielder (Diona pairs really well with him). My crits with Serpent spine R2 are similar to my the unforged or skyward pride, but with much better consistency, probably if I were to use better artifacts, the 5*weapons would be better, but the crit rate on spine helps a lot, so I can use my other god rolls on other characters, so I can distribute the power throughout my teams.

Strongest 4 star in raw DPS output I think is either Xiangling or Ningguang. This will change as time goes on but EM buffed a lot of old characters and we can't say that razor is keeping up anymore.

Nah xiangling I agree but ningguang is much worse than razor in actual endgame content. Her lack of aoe and reactions make abyss much harder with her imo. My low investment sucrose taser team and national team clear abyss way better than my c6 crowned ningguang team can. Sadly I had to bench her even after investing so much into her. Single target dps is just sooo bad in this game. People are saying yoimiya is weak for instance but she has higher single target dps than ning and is pyro so yeah. If yoimiya is weak ningguang is way worse. She needs insane investment and still can't keep up with much cheaper teams.

I got my first and I think only 5-star Weapon so far as Wolf's Gravestone very early (probably before AR15). I also got Razor around the same time and immediately replaced Lisa for my Electric character because Razor is both Electric and anti-armor with his Weapon type. It wasn't until I crossed AR20 that I started looking at Artifacts and equipping and leveling those to make the characters stronger over just upgrading their levels and weapon levels. I think I even have 1 Constellation for my Razor at this point. I haven't looked at Talents at all yet, but I'll check next time I play. This is all without spending any money, just using the Wishes / Primo stuff game has been awarding as I just enjoy exploring and doing a few quests along the way. This was very useful video to me because I am learning how to better build my character and also tells me that I kind of already have everything I need (in terms of wish luck rolls) to beat all content in the game. Agree 100%, scaling is so much more noticeable when you have a 4 star weapon and mid to low tier artifacts. Once you get near perfect artifacts and a 5 star weapon it gets really hard to tell the difference between the two. Most people just don’t get that.

As a f2p, i started to 36star abyss since january and razor was my main carry for my 2nd half. I even only had skyrider greatsword and c1 at the time. Every character can clear even abyss. So in my opinion, play who you enjoy because at the end of the day you can still clear the hardest content. Meta or not,you can make it work. It might not be the best option but, atleast you're enjoying what you're playing and that's what's important.

Before eula came out, I already have a good 4pc gladiator set on razor, so when I got eula, there's nothing taken on my razor entirely. I use the snow tombed on eula (aesthetic wise), and gravestone on razor. I really love running razor, eula, fischl and diona together, the energy is just too much, makes me swap eula and razor and they already have their ult up always and the physical damage is just so insane. For anyone that has benched razor because of eula, try this team, this makes this 2 usable in the same team.

During the last banner I accidentally managed to get Yanfei up to C6 (my first C6, other than Lumine) and because of that I've been working on levelling her up since. I only own one 5 star weapon (Lost Prayer to the Sacred Winds) so I've given that to her instead of Klee (who's got Dodoco Tales). She has a long way to go yet - she's level 80, so is her weapon, her artifacts could do with being optimized and her talents need working on, but holy crap.....she SLAPS already!! I really wanna see what Yanfei is capable of now. She's immense!

Stupidly, I managed to pull 3 Lost Prayers, one from a Weapon Banner where I was just trying to pull as many Mitternachts Waltz as possible (R4 in the end, and rendered completely pointless by a god-luck pull that gave me Thundering Pulse), so I built both Yanfei and Ningguang, who are both doing a wonderful job. I still don’t have a 5-star sword or claymore, so my Diluc, Jean, Beidou, and Xingqiu could be a little happier. My rule is, if I have both a 4-star and 5-star character of the same weapon type, the 4-star gets first claim to any 5-star weapons to keep them all at a relatively similar power level.

As a poor F2P no welkin, no BP. It may take a month to upgrade/max out characters, weapons, artifacts, talents, For a 4Star Character, but it is Still worth it. The Game is still beatable! 4star single wish for F2P. 5star 10 single pulls for Whales. The Game is still beatable. Just let the whales fund the game, And just keep laughing at the jokes of the world.

Personally i feel the game deserves some cash from each player as it's good...just only about $60 for base release and then maybe about $20-30 for each region after (all the patches in between should either be part of those later expansions or free updates (would also rather it be an actual download/Physical disc and not server based so that we can keep the game forever...or at least as long as we have a backup of it/care for the disc well). This game is not worth 100s to 1000s of dollars though and i can't believe anyone would spend that much on it...especially since it's just a chance, not even a guarantee, to get the character and in the majority of updates only 2 to 4 characters were added per updated...some banners just have the 1 new character or weapon and they somehow think they can justify said purchase...you got to be a real moron (or other words that KZbin likely wont' let me say) to actually whale in this game with how little you get per banner (basically 1 item more than half the time). With that said...we laugh at them now but if all the whales quite Genshin will be shuttered you know...this is the main reason i hate the gacha model, more so than the costs it's the simple fact the game can be shut down in a month or two if it doesn't bring in enough profit to satisfy the company (happens with many mobile games...one i played, Tales of the Rays, only lasted 10 months in global (still ongoing in Japan) which sucked cause the story was surprisingly good and the combat was great (much better than Genshin if I'm to be honest). Ya the f2p have the option where they can finally go and support the game financially themselves at that point but let's be honest: most f2p players won't or they will put the bare minimum in thus the company will close the game down still. So far the only costs i'd recommend everyone put in may be the $5 for the Welkin moon as that would guarantee at least another 15 pulls or so per month...maybe the BP too (I do but honestly debating on stopping it for a bit....have more than enough resources that i don't really need it anytime soon...if anything i'm more after the resin, Int fates, and 680 primos and getting the mats as a bonus at this point. As for Genesis crystals...don't buy, ever really...or if you do when it's for 1 character you absolutely know you'll want or will help the team greatly (Zhongli would probably be the only character i'd say that about...maybe Baal as well depending on how well she can generate energy for the party (likely to be an energy battery as the Traveler has always had abilities be Archon Lite for each element so far and Electro Traveler's gimmick seems to be Energy recharge).

Those who are born lucky, average, or rich from the first wolrd country may spend some fiat money. Im just regretfull that i did not chose to be born here at third world country. But still im thankful i could lovely imprisoned myself again in a good game like genshin impact even for a while. If only i have some fiat money, i would be gladly invested it into the game. I just hope the trillions of money being spent in Defense will be spent also in Genshin. Thats all, i love hunting games. But Genshin impact taught me more about resource management! I've been using Rosaria lately as a fun pairing for Yoimiya, running Energy recharge sands and cryo damage goblet, crit rate headpiece with the BP spear to get close to capping her shared crit when she uses her skill/burst. It would probably go a lot further as a support to Razor for that Superconduct, since I really can't reverse-melt often with it, but shared crit rate is never a bad thing to have.

You can for sure make him decent... I mean, he still won't hold a candle to Eula. It seems like 4 star supports can do amazing but main dps 4 stars can be pretty good at best. They won't have sh*t on chars like Eula, Ganyu or Hutao. Those 5 stars are just way too broken.

@@dottorerizwan still, your razor will never be as good as his if he simply upgrades his talents a little more (or switches some artifacts around) the ceiling for him is simply much higher by having a 5 star, even though it's not the best one.

One does not contradict the other, you can still play yoimiya despite her not being top tier 5 star. That video was about telling F2P's about how she was not a top [5-star], he also said in the video that if you like her and wanna main her then you do you, but if you've been saving primogems for the last 2 months and will spend them on yoimiya hoping she'll be as good as hu-tao, then you should think again. 4-stars that can be as strong as 5 stars are a whole different thing though, they're nowhere as expensive to have, and many of them are underrated for not being a 5 star, Kaeya for instance... That said yoimiya can get pretty cracked with some investiment ngl

the bit about getting c6 as f2p is true! i got super lucky on ganyu's rerun banner because it had yanfei and xingqiu, two four stars i really wanted constellations for. now i'm proudly maining a c6 yanfei! i also got c6 sayu because yoimiya's banner and hu tao's rerun banner were some of the two i wished the most on. i also have c5 diona and c4 thoma and beidou. it's not impossible.

im using the shimenawa reminiscence set on razor, got some pretty nice rolls while farming for baal, and decided to test on him, and let me say, is absolute madness of how strong it is, and the energy drawback is barely even noticible

I have a c4 lvl 82 Noelle and she's carried me to AR50. I recently pulled Jean and I'm working on building her up since I like the swirl damage but Noelle will always hold a special place in my heart since she's been strong enough to solo most enemies/bosses I've fought so far

Razor was my DPS before Eula and I cleared Abyss 36* with him. He is amazing and super viable.

The great thing about 4stars is how realistic it is to get constellations, and even if it's not C6, getting those "free" extra levels into Skill and Burst can really pump some numbers. Any character in this game can slap. It's mostly about having a fitting weapon, at least above decent artifacts, and leveling the character, weapon and talents to max of what you can. Anything about that is just "can I get a 6 digit crit". So don't ever get dissuaded by 5 stars that you didn't get. The game doesn't have contet that needs *that* kind of luck combination yet.

I used to be a razor main before maining Jean. He's lv90, has a lv90 gravestone, all lv9 talents and c6. When paired with supports, I've gotten him to hit for nearly 50k without food (maybe more, I don't remember). So yes, you can make 4 stars super strong.

I got really lucky and got Wolf's gravestone + Razor very early in game and because of that he's been my carry ever since, even though I have several 5-star characters now (including Eula.) I've always just really liked his play style and more importantly I just really like him as a character, definitely worth all the investment I've put into him!

You only need a C4 Razor to get the same kind of Physical DMG performance shown in the video. The last two Cs only improves his Electro damage output, which isn't really much.

I mained razor for 7 months c0 with a wolf gravestone but I got diluc and eula at the same time and got bored of his play style and never got him a constellation or a physical goblet so I replaced him The funny thing is that I got 2 constellations after I stopped using him immediately But watching this makes me want to play him again after I get better artifacts and some constellations (already triple 9 talents)

As an f2p, with no 5 stars other than eula, only having 3/4 star weapons, i had to utilize them properly. I'm not that lucky with wishes, but getting razor and fischl was a blessing for me. I built them up properly and now they're much good than my whale friend who introduced me to the game. (Btw i managed to get a c6 xiangling)

Xiangling Xingqiu Ningguang Beidou Yanfei At their ideal constellation + 5* weapon they're on par with a c0 or low constellation 5* dps. Bennet however is the only 6* in the game.
