Garuga did that to emulate how baby sea turtles IRL gotta make a mad dash to the ocean if they don't wanna die and never return to land 'till they reach maturity. I think it's a neat lil' quirk, makes breeding them a _little_ more complicated without, like, making them only be able to breed in certain conditions or something like Magmasaurs or Megachelon. EDIT: Wait a moment they're not supposed to get that debuff as adults, only babies.

@@dnalsiem2000 does it say turtle ? XD well i was just looking at it biological :P Tortoises have more rounded and domed shells where turtles have thinner, more water-dynamic shells. Turtle shells are more streamlined to aid in swimming. One major key difference is that tortoises spend most of their time on land and turtles are adapted for life spent in water.

10:34 he had to massively change how the algae collects. It used to just collect inside its inventory infinitely, but now it takes multiple hours and it can ONLY collect up to x14 algae per full round of growth. Making it a MASSIVE time sink compared to how it used to collect a couple every few minutes

I run dino depot mod in my game and have noticed that if they grow up in the ball I need to throw them out in water for the first time. Even if adult. They lose health if you don't. Once thrown out in water they they seem ok from there. Since babies need raised in water I don't think game quite recognizes them as adult when raised in storage ball

"It's a bit rough." If that's one 1x, that Theri was taming quick, mate. With zero loss in taming effectiveness compared to other things, which are eaten quickly. That's a massive game changer. Crazy new tame. Poor Carbo. I wasn't taming you before and I'll never even look your way now :'(
