Blue Marvel is one of my favourite characters, but with that said I do understand why he isn't used as much. He is so damn powerful he could end almost any conflict or threat that comes up solo and it would take him maybe a few issues of that.

Naw, the writers just suck. Silver Surfer is a very powerful individual and he's had tons of adventures in comics. So has Genis-Vell, one of the previous Captain Marvels. Marvel just doesn't have good enough writers to pull off multiple Blue Marvel appearances

You need to read Defenders Beyond again. 1st Blue Marvel explained himself he doesn't have the power to kill a Beyonder, just his Physical form, that same Beyonder is back in that same issue. And if they didn't run into the white hot room most would die including Blue Marvel, except Loki and Chavez because she had the eternity mask. 2nd he held for a while against a 5th part of the white crown Phoenix and still he knew he was losing that fight but he wanted to give time to Loki. 3rd And Blue Marvel himself said he didn't call TOAA a liar. I think you didn't understand what Ewing was trying to explain.

@@vistaxx I wouldn't compare him to God Doom. Galactus is more complicated. Galactus recreates the 9th cosmos in the end, he did die, but still nuts. Galactus Vs Blue Marvel could go either way as Galactus even if his body isn't matter, he needs his armour to hold his "body of energy". And Blue Marvel is mortal, a meta human with ridiculous power but still mortal. King Hyperion killed others Blue Marvel of different universes. So could Blue Marvel tank a full powered attack of Galactus? I think no, but you never know until it happens in the comics lol. Their powers are different. But being able to destroy the physical avatar of a Beyonder is just nuts. I do believe Blue Marvel could destroy all matter in a universe if he lets loose of all his power. As any matter would be gone.Only exception OP beings. Planets are easily gone. After all that, this is my opinion- God Doom>Galactus>Blue Marvel.

@@vistaxx God Doom is way above Galactus and Blue Marvel. God Doom has the power of various Beyonders, One Beyonder is way above Galactus and Blue Marvel. Odin used to much of the Odin's force and went to the Odin sleep after breaking Galactus helmet. Galactus was still up and he only left Asgard because Loki teleported himself and the seed away of Asgard, the reason why Galactus was there. Galactus recreated the 9th cosmos of Marvel. He had the power to recreate Marvel Cosmos (Omniverse). That's how God Doom>Galactus>Blue Marvel. And I wouldn't put Blue Marvel above Skyfather. More than think of Blue Marvel being capable of killing someone like Odin or King Thor, think if Blue Marvel could survive the full powered attack of these beings. What I don't think he can.

Mine too. The more I learn about these forgotten and over looked street level to OP characters the more I like them and wonder why in the hell they're not featured more in all aspects of comics. His origin story is incredibly sad and interesting. He's on the short list of the smartest characters in marvel while having enough power to annihilate all contenders throughout the universe. Which is why I say give them villains that challenge them mentally instead of just physically. Blue Marvel was a main character in Dr. Doom's solo series from 2020 and every time Doom got one up on him putting him out of the picture of his plans. If we see a Blue Marvel film series the sequels should put him against Marvel's genius evil minds. Maybe the Mad Thinker could be a possible candidate.

I randomly found the character of Blue Marvel in a Marvel character encyclopedia I think 7-8 years ago. Immediately after I began to look him up in every way I could. Since then, he's been in my top 10 favorite superheroes of all time. He's such a great character, and I love his powers so much.

Sooo underrated! Blue Marvel is an absolute power house. One of my favorites.. I also feel they don’t use him simply because he is so damn strong. It wouldn’t be much of a storyline, meaning he could a fight between him and the entire roster of marvel villains in literal seconds. The book would be like 3 pages long. Lol. He wasn't used often to reflect real life racism. Adam is from the jim crow era. His stays on the moon with The Watcher because all the pain he went through on Earth. Especially once it was found out that one of THE strongest people on the planet was a Black man. He wore the mask to hide his identity because of ridicule and hate toward Black men of the era. If you want the full origin Dopespill has them up, even telling them from the perspective of a fellow Black man.

Wrong. The more they use Blue Marvel the more they will ruin the character. Probably Sentry, Galactus, etc etc the best example. Blue Marvel already has bad continuity himself. Example. Takes on king Hyperion solo (crazy feat). Takes on a portion of Shuma Gorath solo(crazy feat). Destroyed the physical avatar of a Beyonder solo (absolutely crazy feat) even if he didn't kill the Beyonder still nuts. Then he couldn't take on Thanos with the full Defenders team, so they need to create machine to put Thanos in a coma, because they couldn't take him by force? Really? This is the problem with using OP characters to much. I would like to see the Defenders just in Multiversal and Omniversal events. In my opinion.

And others corrected feats, And only said between Merged Sentry Vs Blue Marvel my money was in Merged Sentry, but explained why with their first encounter. Not hating at all lol. Edit: in my eyes I perfectly see Blue Marvel defeating characters like Sentry, Hulk, Thor etc, etc. But also I can see this characters being able to defeat Blue Marvel. The reason why Blue Marvel hasn't been used more is BECAUSE he is so powerful! He has "Superman syndrome," meaning that he's so powerful that it's horrendously difficult to imagine anything that could give him a problem. The only solution to that I can see is if a writer took advantage of the immense scope of Marvel's power by focusing on PRECISION. It's very hard to use immense power with fine focus. That would be Marvel's challenge -- not merely using his power, but using it properly and achieving only the good effects while avoiding damage. Superman avoids this problem with super senses and coordination, resulting in superior control. Does Blue Marvel have any of this? Saying that he does not might afford the main challenges that writers could use to make stories featuring him interesting.

Would you guys ever consider doing a "Tournament of 'Super' Men"? How I'd see it is you compile all of the Superman Clones at Marvel and on the Independents, all of the Versions of Superman and members of the Superman family from DC, and then hold a tournament comparing power sets? You could even film yourselves drawing random seeds in the beginning, for absolute fairness. That would be a cool series to watch!

Blue Marvel, should logically be number 1, cuz people choose their favorites based on personal preferences, biases and overall iconic image than logic. In a very simple and summarized way, Adam being an intellectual genius himself explains to both Reed and Tony about who, what and how he came to be, and how his powers work and they being among the foremost science experts in the series believed it . Blue Marvel is easily the most complete and most powerful superhero from Earth in Marvel, no questions asked. He doesn't have a broken psyche, he has a family,has children, is very well respected amongst his peers and contemporaries in both science and superhero business, his intellect matches and rivals that of Doom as said by Reed himself, and exceeds that of Reed and Tony when it comes to matter and atomic principles and studies. And to call him 'strongest' will be an understatement,seriously. Imo, the dude might be the most powerful and most efficient energy producer in Marvel, as his powers are based on anti-matter and he has control over it like breathing, hence he proves he is the pinnacle in both quality and quantity of energy manipulation in all of Marvel, just short of cosmic and abstract beings. For summation, anti-matter is the most potent source of energy in the universe , regardless it's in fiction or real life as the energy produced from a fraction of anti-matter is colossal in intensity compared to nuclear fission or fusion. Feats :- - He defeated Anti-Man all by himself who had just left the Sentry wobbled and in shock in a single punch, and that too reluctantly cuz he was his only friend. - He one shotted a pissed off Sentry into space with the Sentry not even realizing what happened whilst he was team busting the rest of the Avengers. - One shot a friggin Beyonder - With just a miniscule fraction of the hint of his power he supercharges Monica Rambeau to Binary levels. And that's not even a power feat but more about how precise and efficient he is at manipulating energy via his anti-matter mastery. - He defeated an alternate version of Hyperion called King Hyperion who himself had slaughtered Thors, Hulks, Herculeses,Sentries and other physically powerful beings of his and other universes. - Cud easily split the moon in half without a thought as stated by the Watcher himself to his face. - He and his team literally changed Galactus from planet-eater to life giver. - He travelled across the most powerful and enigmatic planes of reality in all of Marvel like the place of Beyonders, the White Hot Room of the Phoenix Force, and the place where the One Above All resides, all of that with a sense of curiosity and learning, and didn't lose his mind through those experiences and instead was enlightened even more. The only reason he doesn't come up much, or isn't all that prominent is literally cuz he's black. During one of his earliest superhero exploits when he fought Anti-Man, his face gets exposed and everyone gets to know that he's black, and the President himself reluctantly asks him to retire as the people of the world can't stand seeing a black superhero be so perfect and all powerful, and he being considerate enough to leave it all behind. He's the best possible homage to the Superman we have in Marvel, and is one of my three top most favorite Marvel characters EVER.

An interesting one shot comic would be the depiction of how Blue Marvel handled every crisis we know of so far, seeing that he wasn’t directly featured in them. My favourite is the Knull v Sentry encounter. I wonder how Blue Marvel would have handled that.

Sentry is filled and powered by the void, while BM is anti matter incarnate. Sure maybe knull has a divine pneuma that can't be destroyed absolutely, but his his form is material; and furthermore, BM has one hit killed a BEYONDER! So... 🤷🏽

@@iamthisiam Actually he didn't kill the beyonder he only removed it's physical body which was limited on that plane and he was amped by a divine anti matter source according to Al ewing on Twitter when he was asked about that instance. BM is powerful but he isn't on the beyonder tier not even close even with his amp he couldn't kill the beyonder only delay it, Knull on the other hand enslaved celestials and killed gods like clockwork. If BM can't even beat Thanos with a full roster of ultimates helping him what chance does he have against Knull?

My thoughts exactly. We know that the Marvels movie is going to have Captain Marvel, Miss Marvel, and Monica Rambeau as either Photon, Pulsar, or Spectrum. With that being said, I seriously hope we get a Blue Marvel cameo. Hopefully he’s going to make an appearance in the film which would help set up his character for a much larger role down the line in the MCU. He’s such a great character that needs to be done and seen in live action. I guess we can only hope that Marvel decides to introduce him sooner rather than later.

There was a casting call for a black male for that movie. Shamier Anderson got the part. The role is being kept quiet. Many are speculating him playing Blue marvel… but who knows. But as I’ve said on other videos Hasbro just released a Blue marvel action figure this past October. Often a good sign for a character especially one that’s been obscure.

@@2kt2000 I completely agree. The Thor Franchise was epic as hell until I saw Love and Thunder. That movie was very underwhelming and disappointing to say the least. As far as Wakanda Forever is concerned, not only did I not want to see but I was apart of the camp who thought Marvel should’ve recast T’Challa. I don’t mean any disrespect to Chadwick Boseman but to not have T’Challa in the MCU is a huge mistake. He’s such an important character in the comics and to not have him in the MCU is a terrible mis-service to the fans and the MCU as a whole. I know why they did what they did but at the same time seeing Shuri jump around as the new Black Panther just wasn’t going to do it for me. I also felt that they made way too many changes to Namor’s origin and back story. I’ll definitely watch the movie when it drops on Disney + but to say that I’m excited to see it would be a lie. Hopefully Marvel figures out a way to do something better for the mantle of the Black Panther other than Shuri.

I like to refresh myself so I generally will read my own 1st for context. Marvel has been getting lazy. Magic in Marvel now SUCKS, just to add a complaint. So many possibilities Dr Strange could a brought. Dr Fate has less footage..alot less, but his magic was better. Scarlet witches power is the color RED now, whatever that is... real original NOT lol. I so hope Marvel comes back. Some comedy is fine but the MCU is Over Saturated with comedy now ... "comedy" should be in the description now.. sad lol. Like you, I will watch them at some point... It's just about good writing and good character development. The Silver Surfer is overpowered, too but his comics are usually well-written and have very compelling stories. All Marvel needs to do is just get, creative writers to do the comics for him. Now a character like Doctor Manhattan, HE'S the one who I feel like is overpowered to the point that you really can't do anything with him as far as writing a story with any really conflict and jeopardy in it. I'm going to be doing my own comics and I have some intentionally ridiculously overpowered Super Heroes( and two of them are Blue Marvel analogues and another one is a Silver Surfer substitute who is basically the Silver Surfer with a car instead of a surfboard) and I wanted to make them overpowered to the point that it's actually ridiculous so the challenge is for me to write good, compelling and interesting stories for them with real stakes, conflict and jeopardy. If I can do that for independently published comic books, then a corporate moneymaking machine like Marvel damned sure should be able to get people to do it for them.

I am unfamiliar with the character, as I don't find him interesting in the least, but going off the fests mentioned in the video, he would appear more powerful than either, as he beat enemies they struggled with. Personally I think it ridiculous that Thor loses to Hulk so frequently, when he shouldn't, but part of the problem is Marvel ignoring previous canon to suit the plot. Thus, despite Thor having much better strength feats than Hulk, somehow Hulk is stronger? Let alone Thor's milennia of combat experience and the oft ignored powers of Mjölnir. In fact Mjölnir makes him so OP, it should be excluded in Vs fights, to give his opponents a chance.
