How Powerful is The Mahoraga Wheel?

Since apparently some people think the wheel doesn't let Sukuna adapt personally at ALL, Lets take a look at this. In Chapter 219 with both Viz and TCB translations Sukuna states "I've already adapted" not "Mahoraga has already adapted". Sukuna also states in Chapter 217 he wanted to Kill Tsumiki with Ten Shadows specifically hence him using Shikigami throughout their entire fight and then killing her directly with Mahoraga. He was completely fine with being inside her domain when her sure hit true sphere could have gone off any moment before he summoned Mahoraga and this lines up with the aforementioned statement that he himself was already adapted to her technique. Him not getting adaptation doesn't make sense if we look a the setup of the ability in the first place, what is a standard non Sukuna ten shadows user supposed to do? Eat a one hit so they can summon their Mahoraga later so it doesn't get instantly killed? If your opponent has a one hit why would YOU want to be the one to tank it and die, and not your Shikigami? And if they don't...then why not just summon Mahoraga in the first place and just let them help you while it adapts since according to this logic you don't get any benefit from adapting anyways and even if they ARE about to be one hit you can just desummon Shikigami(Chapter 9 and onward). The treasure is the exact same one used by Mahoraga, we have no reason to believe the effects should be dramatically different. If the adapation is non existent for the user of the personal wheel, well then it's only purpose would be for you to tank damage your Mahoraga could have tanked and adapted to in the first place which is not only a hilariously stupid ability but goes against statements.

I think this might be his technique because now angel says if he sees something he can do it so what if he takes it and adapts to it and uses it in a way he can use it like after he fought jogo and he started fighting he used fire arrow after so what if let's say that now because he has megumis body and mahoraga if he uses it so instead of mahoraga adapts to the ability and uses it himself grows maybe wings a crown from the things on his head a new pattern or mahoraga like armor swords on his hands that cancel out techniques like mahoraga and sorta uses like yorozu his own armour that makes him almost invincible obviously weaker than mahoraga using it but under sukuna it wouldn't matter but he would need to understand it maybe that's why he has items because he couldn't use them fully till he mastered it so something like infinity he can't copy because it's too complex and he doesn't understand the technique enough to do so

The wheel has 8 turns before a full rotation so maybe there is a maximum of 8 phenomena that it can adapt to at once. I saw a theory about this limit of 8 adaptations once. It said that the purpose of the "10 shadows" is to fill up 8 "adaptation slots" and finish mahoraga with the 9th and that this is the secret to tame Mahoraga as a 10 shadows user on your own. I really like that theory. Maybe Gojo can somehow use this effect to his advantage when he fights Sukuna to at least neutralise the 10 Shadows aspect of Sukunas already busted arsenal. Most people including me believe that just for plot reasons and to let the new Generation shine Gojo kinda has to lose against Sukuna but will still gain some small long term victory through his defeat to enable the young ones to ultimately defeat Sukuna. Figuring out this process and having Megumi see it while Sukuna posesses his body as a sort of "how to tame Mahoraga" tutorial could be that small victory. When Megumi gets freed at some point He will know how he can tame Mahoraga thanks to Gojos efforts/sacrifice to later use him and the wheel against Sukuna.

We've never actually seen Sukuna get the immortality that comes with the Wheel. Sure Sukuna can use the wheel to adapt, but the immortality that comes from the adaptation is only reflected on mahoraga IMO

Sukuna never took anywhere remotely as much damage as Mahoraga did, there's no reason to believe it's any different attached to him as it is the same treasure used by Mahoraga. Mahoraga wasn't healing from getting punched in the face either, the only time we see the wheel start to spin in response to damage is after lethal or near lethal blows in their fight.

Just thought about this... I wouldn't be surprised if you can have every 10 Shadows Object or "thing" wear that wheel in the domain expansion. it would fit right in with being broken... though I don't think that's gonna happen since that's kinda boring and I personally think that if Gege has megumi ever release a full blown gojo and sukuna level domain that it won't show every clone wearing a wheel but instead maybe something more smart and unpredictable something that's active accross the entire domain the entire time... it would be neat if the domain itself wore the wheel and every thing in is automatically adapted to and then having that linked to the summons who instantly gain the adaption as a kind of cherry on top if they can become more dangerous inside the domain. Might also make for some interesting domain clashes if the 10 shadows domain adapts to the opponents domain and overwhelms it that way.

Mahoraga was adapted to the sphere because sukuna had already been getting busted up by Yorozu so the wheel had constantly been adapting to the Liquid Metal which is what’s used to make the perfect sphere. I also think she couldn’t even make insect armour after that because there were remnants of it in her hands but even if she could it would still have been useless. So if Sukuna keeps getting blasted by blue and red, when gojo uses hollow purple, mahoraga will cut through it

To be honest how I think the Positive energy shutting down negative energy deer ability is that it isn’t nullifying the actual cursed technique, remember yorozu ability is creation hence creating the Liquid Metal but she uses the cursed energy in the metal to manipulate it into moving what the deer is doing is canceling out the cursed energy used in manipulating the Liquid Metal and in the same page you can still see the Liquid Metal there it’s just that without being manipulated by cursed energy it becomes formless and turns liquid meaning the deer ability wouldn’t have any effect on gojo infinity at all since it is the effect of the actual technique because if it did work like cursed technique nullification then it should have dissolved the Liquid Metal or sukuna could have just used it to melt off yorozu bug armor

Theory: I believe Mahito will make a return in this final arc. Seeing as Yuji didn't actually get to finish him and the main villain cast seems to be slightly lacking in numbers I think this is very plausible. We have also seen the Kenjaku can summon cursed spirits and they maintain their personality much like Tengen does. I think this final battle would make complete since as a precurser for Yuji before he takes on Kenny or Sukuna as it may help him fully understand the soul and to defeat Mahito without Sukuna inside him to limit Mahitos abilities. I've seen a theory that the wheel has a limit with the fact that there are 8 points/balls on the wheel, and that those 8 points hold the adaptations made in battle. This could be mean that 8 out the 9 shikigami available can become useless/ semi-useless but one could absolutely take advantage of this weakness. the wheel should be able to adapt to limitless however to say that because it beat a 6eyes limitless user in the past does not mean it can bat Gojo. Gojo was a 6 eyes limitless user when he 'lost' to Toji. Gojo is an anomaly of anomalies and is the first 6 eyes to not be bound to the singular job of protecting the star plasma vessel and so is probably far stronger than any 6 eyes user before. who knows maybe Gojo is so physically strong that even if Mahoraga adapts to limitless he still may be able to just beat it into submission or send it so far away using teleportation that it is removed from the battle. Plus its actually not shown that the user can use the powers of Mahoragas adapting on themself. Sukana can expose the wheel and have it adapt but that may not mean he has adapted and can counter anything it just means that Mahoraga has now adapted without the risk of dying before it can adapt. otherwise Sukuna could have just walked up to the sphere and stab it the same way Mahorga did to stop it but he didn't he had to summon the Mahoraga to do it. So you probably would have to swap the wheel back and forth.

You know Mahoraga can just...move out of the way of Hollow Purple right? If Gojo takes to the air to get some distance from it, Mahoraga can literally just jump up to Gojo easily lol. Megumi's Mahoraga was capable of keeping up 15 Finger Sukuna and strong enough to literally punch him acoss the entire city, outside of the veil, then within seconds catch up to Sukuna and attack him again lol no way Gojo treats it like "fodder" if Mahoraga literally fought someone as powerful as Gojo and killed him. Plus, if it retains the same resistances across it's history, then the Limitless ain't gonna stop it no matter what Gojo does.

Hollow Purple is an imaginary mass it SHOULD be FTL, Mahoraga has never been shown to actively dodge an attack in it's life. Also it doesn't matter if it dodges Gojo as he is fully capable of creating as many as he wants and can teleport himself and others. Mahoraga has zero way of ever catching Gojo, he is as fast as sukuna if not faster and has six eyes reaction times. The Six Eyes/Limitless user that fought Maho is nowhere stated to be as strong as Gojo, in fact quite the opposite as Gege has stated Gojo is the "Pinnacle of Strength". There are actually limitless ways for him to body Mahoraga, it retaining adaptations across history makes zero sense as Sukuna should just be training this thing like a Pokemon if that's the case. Mahoraga is absolute Fodder without plot interference and POS when it comes to fighting Gojo, it was shown unable to react to Sukuna's speed let alone Gojo's. Mahoraga is only useful because of it's wheel which is FAR better attached to Sukuna. Sukuna is definitly going to give him a run for his money and probably win because plot, but on paper? Gojo bodies the verse now and probably forever because his power set is just too hax for what's shown in JJK currently. Sukuna's technique needs to be some ridiculous hax itself to have their fight make sense.

Yes, Gojo is as fast as Sukuna and like I said, Mahoraga literally knocked Sukuna across the city, caught up to him, and was INCHES away from piercing Sukuna's skull the same second he raised his head up after stopping himself from ragdolling any further. That's fast lol Gojo is the pinnacle of strength in TODAY'S society. There's literally no difference between one Limitless Cursed Technique user with Six Eyes than the other. If there was, Tengen or even Kenjaku would have mentioned that Gojo is different from the rest of his ancestors, but no such statement like that exists. Moreover, Gojo being the pinnacle of strength doesn't mean others aren't relative to him or are unable to damage him. Sukuna himself admitted Jogo's Maximum Meteor would have hurt him if it hit, despite the fact that Sukuna is OVERWHELMINGLY stronger than Jogo. Sukuna even now is at the very *least* relative to Gojo (not equal, relative - same playing field, same ballpark of strength). I mean, Sukuna has only JUST summoned Mahoraga three or so chapters ago and has only had one confrontation. It isn't out of the question, but it can also be said that the Mahoraga that Sukuna killed did retain its resistances/adaptions considering its the same summon that no one has ever exorcised before, but now that it was erased this "new" Mahoraga may have to start over from scratch but regardless this Mahoraga is definitely more powerful now than it ever was. Plus if Sukuna combines whatever deceased Shikigami he possesses into Mahoraga, it'll only become more powerful, which will be especially useful if Gojo starts killing off all of Sukuna's Shikigami in their fight. Also you say it can't keep up with Sukuna's speed yet it kept up with him the entire battle, which lasted one chapter because in the next Sukuna pulled out his Domain. You say his power set allows him to body the verse yet Mahoraga has experienced this power set, adapted to it, and killed the person who possessed it (otherwise how else could Mahoraga have gotten past Infinity, Purple, Unlimited Void, etc). So no, it literally isn't fodder based on everything we've seen from it lol. It's absolutely a threat and given that Sukuna is likely to pull out the wheel first, once Mahoraga comes out there really isn't anything Gojo can do.

I only have one thing that could be used differently in cursed tools theoritically the wheel could be seen as part of mahoragas soul so using its ability as it is what gives it the innate technique to adapt to anything cant we just use the split soul katana to slice it off and then possibly destroy it then release a blitz of shikigami or use the soul splitting katana to kill mahoraga

Sukuna can't use the adaptation through wheel, i think actually while using the wheel every attack which gets in contact with sukuna is sent to mahoraga so he could adapt it and then after a time when mahoraga is summoned then he is able to counter all those attacks If I'm wrong correct me

Maharoga couldnt cut through Sukuna because of 2 reasons: 1. Sukuna is a cursed object, not a cursed spirit. Positive cursed energy has no effect on him 2. Sukuna was inside Yuuji's body, who is a human, therefore the positive cursed energy doesnt interact with him

I personally think that Gojo has some unshown powers. He for sure has evolved somehow while sealed. I mean.. the final fight should be at least interesting to watch. To do that, the author should make them not so far from each other. I dont know how it will all go, but it for sure will be a close fight. Obviously to end the story good we need a happy end so..) I also thing the both will evolve during the fight. Gojo will unlock a new colour and sukuna use some of his unknown powers too. But i am 100% sure that limitless will be cancelled.

I'm still not sure about how Mahoraga's Wheel will interact with Gojo's Limitless(all spells and DE included): okay it will supposedly adapt to any attack and defense but if there's going to be one exception, it'll be Gojo's RCT cuz I can't picture how you can actually adapt to something infinite, with literally no boundaries whatsoever. The Wheel will adapt to all phenomenons and therefore to almost all RCTs, but how will it be able to grasp the ungraspable and adapt to it? Kinda "Unstoppable Force meets Immovable Object"-like interaction. Cuz (although it's the translation so the original wording might be slightly different in Japanese) infinity is not a phenomenon, that is to say an observable event (a fact that occurs at one moment in time). If you disagree with me, provide arguments. I reserve my judgement for now, but I can't wait to see how it will actually play out

It's still some sort of process with a result(erasing matter) so it may be perhaps the one thing that could be handled by the Wheel, but it would also imply surviving it Hanami-fashion(since it's not something that lasts on the battlefield like Yorozu's creation technique) for then adapting to it(and what would stop Gojo from just spamming Purple?)
