How Powerful Is The New Indian Zorawar Tank?

In preparation for rigorous testing, the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) of India has shown the Zorawar prototype, the country's indigenous light tank.
Its development was a collaborative effort between DRDO and Larsen & Toubro (L&T), with input from other MSMEs. The 2020 confrontation with China in Eastern Ladakh brought attention to the necessity for a lightweight tank (weighing no more than 25 tons), emphasizing the importance of tanks that are easily deployable. The 350 light tanks, each weighing less than 25 tons, were requested by the Army in an April 2021 Request for Information (RFI). To improve tactical and operational mobility, the design of the light tank makes it air transportable, allows it to fire at high angles, and gives it limited artillery responsibilities.

But in mountains airpower doesn't come in much play buddy due to thin air density both Chineese and Indian air forces are at half capacity there let alone be munitions and kamikaze We have fought all the wars against Pakistan and China mostly on mountains More than technology and airpower mountains requires tough men who can accommodate mountains and good artillery... Pakistani Army started using MANPADS and we had to ground all our helicopters and had to resort to air strike...we don't have enough Guided artillery, we don't have enough drones, we don't have enough MBRLS....all we have is enough men to spare.

It's happened when someone suddenly watched Defence videos 😂. Zorawar tank using 750HP engine and tank's weight is 25Ton. (40hp. /Ton ) It's not what are you thinking. Indian currency operating T-72 in Ladakh ( 18hp /ton) even Zorawar better than Chinese Type-15 (30hp/Ton).
