There’s quite a few uneducated comments criticising me for ”smurfing” in this game. Let me clarify some things: All of the players in this game are ~D1 skill level (Top ~1% of EUW), some are smurfs and some are not. I played on this account instead of my Challenger account because 1) I wanted to give an educational commentary, which is impossible to do while maintaining perfect 1000LP-level concentration, and 2) because I did not want to wait 30 minutes in queue (D1 queue times are ~3 mins, 1000 LP is ~30 mins. There is a difference between smurfing in gold/plat games and playing on secondary (still higher elo than all of the critics) account. With love, xPetu

Little trick for the ward pings if you miss it and it turns invisible, you still have around 8 seconds to ping it because the way it works is you have 10 seconds from when the ward is placed to ping it. You do need to have seen it being placed but you still have more time after it disappears

The "challenger" moment for me this game is when Petu remembered Jax put a ward down behind him that he could run away to so he didnt waste e to engage.

As an ADC main I don't like trying to learn top lane as it's always a full grown man with a mortgage, an ex-wife and two kids living up there against my uneducated self, but watching how calm and confident you are makes me want to take notes, watch more Shen content from you and then give it the ol' college try.

I love how many builds Shen can build into, this pre season I am loving the Heartsteel + Titanic Hydra combo.. Shen becomes a bruiser early game and then mid to late you just build into armor and MR and carry.

you need 3 points in E for 1 point jax E to have same cd. Shen E is 18 / 16 / 14 / 12 / 10. Jax E is 14 / 12.5 / 11 / 9.5 / 8

But honestly Idk if it's even necessary. Sure in a long 1v1 all in, 4 seconds difference is big. But in normal lane trading players are looking for good time to go in, they don't just flash qwer on cd. So it might not matter.
