thank you for the video, btw, what is the eco grade of Euxyl PE 9010 Preservative? Also if it's possible for you to demonstrate how to buffer geogard Ultra with sodium citrate to prevent PH drifting? Lonza recommend using 1.5x sodium citrate, then adjust back with sodium hydroxide and lock at 5.4-5.5 as final PH. What's the reason for locking at 5.4-5.5? what about locking at a lower PH like 4.5? I cannot find a single video online showing the buffer process and I'm not confident of using geogard Ultra. Thanks in advance 😊

The natural ph of our skin is between 5.0 to 5.4/5.5- the older the human being the higher the ph value of the skin as a general rule. ph of 4.5 is too acidic for the skin of our faces, but it is the ph value of our hair.

@@jp-legal No you are wrong, the natural skin PH is at 4.5 -5.5. The ideal skin PH is at below 5, there are many research paper support this. Higher pH weakens the skin's acid mantle, making it more vulnerable to damage and prone to common issues like dryness, irritation and sensitivity

@@jp-legal You can read a published paper if you search for the title "Natural skin surface pH is on average below 5, which is beneficial for its resident flora"

HAve you heard of Simply Ingredients? They have a preservative made of the exact same two ingredients as Euxyl and there is no sent whatsoever.

Yes, DMDM Hydantoin is a good preservative. It's an industry standard and what people typically used before "natural" and "clean" fear marketing stories took over the industry. Methylparaben is great too.
