I WISH this tutorial came out during the utter PEAK of SOULCALIBUR VI, the same as with that other guy said. EVERYBODY'S creations would've been polished and their creative flow would run WILD man. But alas, as it's mere wishful thinking at the end of the day man😅 Also side note: HOOOOW did you get a near perfect sole for the Boxing Shoes with Pattern 1 at 8:36 (I believe that's the right pattern....) because I have been trying for the past 5 minutes now...Seriously that shit looks clean!

As fantastic as this is. It would have been a dream to have seen this during the peak of soul calibur's hype. Now the frequency of players in this game has died down a bit. So it's not that common to see new and interesting character creations or even game rooms in the online mode

Thank you ^^ I know, but there isn't much we can do about it anymore ^^ I already started planning to make this video back in 2019, but I didn't know, how to pull it off properly. I didn't even know about the possibility to make the hologram appear by pressing the left stick. I discovered it by accident like 3-4 months ago xD But this made things much easier. The game still gets a few minor hype-phases, when it''s on sale. It's also possible, that bandai namco might release a "legendary edition" just as they announced it for Tekken 7. But yeah, the main hype is already gone after the release of the Hwang-DLC ^^ Some creation communites are still active, but the number of creators decreased as well^^

@@DynnyB There's quite a few creators here on KZbin (Reddit and Tik Tok) that upload videos and judging by the amount of uploads I see on the shared side, I'm going to go out on a limb here and say there are tons of CAS creators who still play the game. The online competitive side however is slowing down. I'm still crossing my fingers for a season 3.

@@illahstrait Well, no one said, that the community is entirely dead, but it's just a natural thing, that a community isn't as active as before, when a game loses it's hype & doesn't get any support by it's publisher anymore ^^ However, the reddit community was very active during the last summer holidays ^^ And the true passionate creators will never stop creating characters :D

Hello! :) if you want to use just 1 sticker (the number 4), it will depend on the equipment and on which location you want to place it. It won't work well on every equipment. To be honest, I can't explain it better than I did at 06:05. You have to set the horizontal angle that way, so the diagonal line of the 4 can be cut away. You can also change the outline color of the 4 to be like the equipment's color, as seen in the examples in the video. It works really well for arms and legs, it may not work on every shirt that well though and could look too deformed. Also, the cross I showed at 06:38, I'm not sure if that's good for a templar. If you have enough sticker slots, I'd use two number 1 stickers on the shirt, and the number 4 sticker for arms and legs as additional detail. You can also try to make a cross by using patterns, which also requires patience. Sadly, soulcalibur 6's creation mode is about trial and error the whole time xD

Is it possible to add stickers on weapons? I saw some characters with stickers/patterns on their weapons

hello ^^ You can not add stickers on weapons, but you can add patterns on some weapons. It depends on each weapon's color slots. Some color slots allow you to add a pattern, but some other slots only allow you to change it's color only. Just test it on each weapon & click on each of their color slot to see, if there's an option for adding a pattern. For example, I think the blades of Mitsurugi's swords can't get a pattern, but their scabbards can. ​@@gerardorivas2811 I didn't like it's non-removable golden pattern, especially on the back. It's shine also didn't fit to the golden stickers & patterns I made on other equipments. There are probably a few other minor reasons. I know that many people prefer their recreations to have a "SoulCalibur"-like design, and it's probably the more aesthetic solution in many cases. However, I try to avoid equipments, that are either too large, or include some details I don't want to have for a character. In other words: I try to avoid "SoulCalibur" designs as much as I can xD So I "draw" my own textures on an empty equipment, a plain shirt for example. This way, a creation will be a lot more unique, & you can make it closer to the original. However, it's a lot more difficult to create & it doesn't mean, that the result will be as aesthetic as a "SoulCalibur" design. But that's just my style, many of my creations were made this way ^^ In the end, everyone has to decide for themselves, what design choices they prefer :)

I do want to ask though, do you take commissions or requests? Since I usually don't have enough of Fate characters in SC, and I'm not that good myself to make a character and be satisfied with how it turns out, lol. Make Super Orion 💪🐻🏹

​@@gerardorivas2811 I am very sorry, but I don't have that much free time anymore to create detailed characters at all, and there are still many I would like to create, so it's impossible for me to take commisions or requests :( I'll try to upload Lara Croft this month, but I can't tell, when the next tutorial will be published. But you have to believe me, it's not about being "good" at character recreation, it's just about the free time you are willing to spend. In most cases, I spend like 15-20 hours just for a single creation, but depending on the complexety and issues, it could be even 30+ hours. I worked on a sticker for Zero Suit Samus for 3 days, like 20+ hours. So in other words, the quality doesn't come out of nowhere, it's just a lot of work & free time spent for a single creation. One more important thing is to try out some patterns, stickers, extra equipments, that may have the shape, or form in some way you could need it. Even if you think it's impossible and just a ridiculous thought, just try to force it as much as you can, and in some cases, it works & turns out well. That's basically what I do all the time, when creating a character :) And of course, there's experience, that makes your creation life easier. But you won't get any of it, if you don't try various & ridiculous things :D
