Back in the seventies my dad saw me reading Nostradamus. He said if you want to be a prophet, make a different prediction every day and in two hundred years they'll collect all the ones you got right.

I love Dr Kipp. There's a young whippersnapper who is almost as good, called Dr Josh. {:o:O:}

01:51:32 Could it be argued that 2 Kings lifted the narrative from Isaiah, and not the other way around?

I have no idea! Kipp streams regularly on his own channel though, I bet you could get an answer on any of his livestreams.

@@ReasontoDoubt I've listened to him discuss this at least once before. I don't think he goes into the reasoning for thinking Isaiah clearly copied 2 Kings, and not vice-versa. I'll ask him about it next time he posts a video about this.

In the title, does "forged" mean how prophets faked prophecies, as in ex eventu? Or is that referring to how prophecies were originally formed?

It's about how the idea of prophecy evolved over time in Judaism and then into Christianity, and how the prophecies many Christians believe point to Jesus were developed.
