Drew is lovely but she could turn it down a notch. She says similar things to all her celebrity guests and recently started this invasion of their personal space, so it all comes across as insincere and grating effusiveness, much like Fallon, especially since she couldn't name even one Mary song despite saying she's a lifelong fan of her music. It's not necessary to blow smoke or feign intimacy to get a good interview. Kelly Clarkson comes across as more sincere cos she's just trying to have a good conversation without all the emotional transference.
