I've been grounding for over three years now. After the first night I was sold. Found some other neat ways to ground throughout the day. We spend so much of our lives in "Fight or Flight" and grounding seems to move us back to "Homeostasis". At 74 I don't experience the typical aches and pains of aging.

I have literally just woke up from my first night of grounding in my bed. For the cost of a co pay to the doctor is how much it cost to buy the fabric and grounding wire to plug into my outlet. (make sure it is a ground) I feel better than I have ever felt in the last 10 years or so. I am now an official tree and earth hugger and inside laying/sitting on a grounding mat. I am still a little skeptical but hey, I done worse things to my body.

Side note: “Alternative medicine” came prior to modern medicine. Doctors USED to learn natural remedies (using natural foods, etc) until it became more profitable to gain university’s funding with the use of pharmaceuticals. The courses were “encouraged” to then teach using chemicals (pharmaceuticals) around the time of Rockefeller until small universities that resisted had to close (no funding). It was fueled by politics (and therefore money). Easily looked up & I’m sure there’s a KZbin on the story.

Disabler......I love sitting outside barefoot. Good job observing effect and looking for cause. There is also a definite pattern in peoples eating and their energy levels. I'm careful to respect peoples space, but when I see a high energy, happy, healthy person, I make it a point to cross their path as they head to the grocery checkout. Sometimes a conversation happens. A friend works as a checker at a grocery store and I get data from him too. A no brainer is fat, wheezing people almost always have soda in their carts. A quote from a man I respect, "If you want to be happy and healthy, do what happy and healthy people do." Peace. :)

I got rid of phase and neutral and kept only the earth on that plug, and plugged it and attached the wire to my ankle for the first night. Wow I didn’t sleep like since months ! This works it is not quack science. It seems ridiculously simple but I can tell you I have noticed a huge difference in my stress and fear levels after incorporating grounding into my life. I walk through the park in the morning while the grass is still wet for 30 minutes every single day. Sometimes I also do grounding on soil just before bed. Wet grass or soil and beach are best places. Also climbing trees or standing on living tree roots is extremely grounding. If you live in an extremely cold environment use a grounding sheet for your bed, but the earth is best!!

I've been earthing for many years, albeit often fleetingly I've always believed it works. But in the last couple of weeks I have made a pact with myself to get grounded as close to 24hrs a day as possible. This is what I have noticed. 1. Insulin resistance symptoms decreased. 2. Ringing in right ear almost totally gone. 3. Knee pain gone 100% 4. Lower back pain 95% gone. 5. Gum disease and tooth sensitivity greatly reduced and getting better by the day. 6. Nervous system and moods stabilised. Less nervous anxiety. 7. Sleeping much better with improved energy throughout the day. 8. Clearer thoughts. Working better. 9. Raised libido. I stand to gain nothing from posting this comment. These are simply my experiences. I highly recommend getting started as soon as possible. You have nothing to loose and everything to gain.

I run ultra marathons and I’m 52 years young. I have struggled for 6 weeks with an Achilles injury which keeps getting worse after rest - admitting I’m not a patient patient! 3 days ago a decided to try grounding, walking along a riverside near my home for around 40 mins each day. This morning I jogged gently for 3 miles pain free! I have fasted too so I think it is a culmination of rest, fasting then grounding to complete the rapid recovery. I was seriously expecting many months of frustration but hopefully will take things easy and keep walking daily barefooted. I’m sold on this free treatment from nature!!

Hello Laura. I just thought I would let you know how your video came into my newsfeed; I recently started researching grounding again, the first time I looked into this was in 2012. I had listened to David Wolfe talk about the last book he wrote in 2012 was done while he grounded himself using sheets and a floor mat in front of his desk for 365 days. But back then, if my memory serves me correctly, the grounding sheets were $500. I didn’t feel like spending that much money at the time, so I just grounded naturally, but did not make it a daily practice.. A good friend of mine told me a couple weeks ago that she got a grounding sheet two or three years ago, and how life changing it was. So I spent $110 on a fitted grounding sheet, and the first night I used it last week gave me 9.5 hours of sleep. That blew my mind because I can never sleep that long. Also, I usually get up three or four times a night to use the bathroom, but since I got the sheet I only wake up one time a night to do that. With that being said, I see that I have already liked this video from seven years ago, and I see that I had subscribed to your channel, but you have never come into my newsfeed. Looks like you still talk about grounding, so I will start checking out your videos again. Thanks for this video explaining what’s going on. I have been sending videos to friends, and they’re all starting to buy grounding sheets, so that’s amazing!

I've been grounding for about a year now. I had back surgery 3-4 years ago and almost had to go in for SI joint. I discovered grounding and it was life changing. No more surgery and back back is gone. I do have to say that, the one thing that I didn't expect was the calming affect. I was always hi strung and felt on edge all the time. I am a calmer person. Even people recognized it. Now I go to bed earlier just to ground in bed. I also, have a mat under my desk so, I'm grounding most of the day/night. I just introduced my cardiologist to it. He had never heard of it but, was very intrigued. His wife has issues with her SI joints and he is going to buy a mat for his wife. My blood pressure is at a wonderful level as well. Amazing discovery!

In my never-ending search to get as healthy as possible, I found earthing to be a low-cost experiment I could try to combat my insomnia and chronic fatigue! However, previous to this, I battled a degree of eczema that landed me in the emergency room only to find out traditional medicine has no cure as it doesn't address the source. In my case, acidosis was at fault and i embarked in a quest to find the best way to combat acidosis and after 4 weeks, the eczema is completely gone! Much of this is covered in the Gerson Therapy which is often discredited by the US medical community (I suspect mainly because by curing sick people, the medical practice wouldn't be as lucrative)! Laura, Thank you for being one of the few outlying MD's! ;-)

Hi…I have started earthing for many reasons however today I was in my private garden and I layed down in the grass naked for 30 minutes. After a while I was looking about and I could see fast moving Glitter particles all around and coming from me in the atmosphere. Has anyone else see this periodically? If so what is it? Im loving it!

Sleeping grounded (using a ground mat) over 2 weeks in a row, really messed me up. There is such a thing as doing too much too fast, especially when it comes to healing, but it depends on how sick you were to begin with. I have to use it every 2nd or 3rd night.

When I first used it years ago, it made my sleep restless, the exact opposite of what it was supposed to do. So I stopped using it until a few months ago. When I used it again it helped me sleep.

If not direct to outside copper tube, u are getting "dirty" ( positive wires too close to negative ) energy from the buildings electrical system. Test the plug if you are using one to ground with. Yes wires are insulated but they rot, break and leak. Ask any electrician that made money repairing bad wires.....

“Instantaneous is long enough“. Now that’s rich! This calls to mind the age old question, “which came first, the chicken or the egg?“ This of course, is a loaded question that presumes the existence of time. But without time, all history is “one event”. This is of course a concept that our human left brains do not have the bandwidth to grasp. But from the perspective of our devine right brains (when fully accessed), infinite patience and instant gratification are one event.

Is there a danger to grounding yourself in a high EMF environment? This seems like a good idea when camping, or out in the country, but in an office (using Earthing tools) or in a courtyard surrounded by Wifi, cell phones, etc... you are turning yourself into a direct path to ground, making yourself an ideal pathway for all those signals that you may be trying to avoid (especially if you are EMF Sensitive).

Better yet, if you've got a shit-hole yard, get yourself something less than hundred bucks from Laura Koniver's store and witness a miracle yourself. There is no impasse here. Don't have to live in the Amazon or to be Grounded. Trump can ground himself in his Tower just as well as I can in a log cabin in the Alaskan Bush.
@drewpierpont3361
@drewpierpont3361 7 жыл бұрын
That's hilarious...sand is actually a very poor conductor and you will be less grounded standing on the beach (unless it's wet, of course) than you would literally standing in dog shit (or human shit, or any shit, as it contains salt and moisture) on moist soil. This proves what a fraud grounding actually is.
@kroschelfilms
@kroschelfilms 7 жыл бұрын
First, someone has stolen my identity because I did NOT write the above. Second, this comment from Mr. Pierpont is peculiar and troubling not to mention misleading. Nothing fraudulent about grounding. Nobody said bone dry sand was conductive. Wet sand along a lake , pond or ocean is extremely conductive.
@drewpierpont3361
@drewpierpont3361 7 жыл бұрын
She said "on the beach." Seeing that there is a REALLY important conductivity distinction between wet and dry sand (I said it...you didn't have to reaffirm it but thanks. You should reaffirm all the facts I give out), it would have been a really good idea for taoist40 to mention that wet sand is better than dry sand. It doesn't really matter, because there are no health benefits to grounding. Having a higher voltage potential than ground means that you are not part of the circuit. No electric voltage potential between you and ground means you are CONDUCTING electricity. Passing charge through your body from an external source is not beneficial in any way and can be very dangerous. Enough current will cause your heart to quiver and result in cardiac arrhythmia. Such a situation is fatal. To piggyback onto that point, if you are struck by lightning and you are grounded, you are MUCH more likely to be killed.
