This also goes to Kamen Rider Revice... According to my experience in the fandom, at first Revice was considered amazing. But as time goes by it gets criticized by many fans due to the flaws within the 2nd half arc, it feels divisive now. Most show reboots also tend to get a lot of hate because it feels trying to be cool in the modernity like the cartoon reboots and some revivals that looked bad too

this has a really good point, though. it's all mob psychology. it's all fine until someone says they dislike something. then some more people with the same opinion can relate. but then other people who actually like it start getting scared because they feel like they're wrong for liking it and they start hating it, too. and then other people are convinced to hate it and it spreads. you're right. the internet is not a group of people, it is a hive mind.

This is honestly the most accurate perspective on the internet that actually fits well, Every time, when a new movie/TV show/indie show releases, people are always going to be like: "Oh, I like this, it's a masterpiece 👌 👏 😃" And there's these KZbin critics that are like: "na, this is mid/awful/terrible 👎🙄😑" And look, I get that not all movies or shows can be a masterpiece or even a good one. (Heck, just look at Megamind 2, for example) But we should remember that not everyone has the same opinion, and heck, maybe our criticisms can sometimes be a bit wrong at times. Just remember to not be rude or aggressive to anyone for having a different opinion than yours. Leave them be.

then the *real* fans get hated for being fans, or get stereotyped as the crazy fans that were willing to start a fight over not liking it (2:04). Unfortunately this video is accurate, people just hate random things or even PEOPLE for absolutely no reason. Sometimes there’s a reason, but the reason isn’t reasonable.

That is what happens to every fandom. I’m gonna just say South Park as an example. There were multiple edits and other stuff in March 2023, and in about April-May the fandom died off and then more Total Drama came along. Nothing against it, but it just shows how quick we switch up from one thing to another.
@ticklemypickle365 ай бұрын
Ive always loved both but I thought of this too. then everyone left total drama for digital circus and hazbin hotel and then went to poppy playtime and that fpe thing

People being bandwagon hopping sheep are definitely a thing, but I hate when the idea is used to dismiss real criticism. There's also the case of a show starting off strong and regressing season after season, thus making people hate a show that they used to love.
@plugshirt17625 ай бұрын
@@Brollyssweetfaceyeah it’s really annoying how people on the internet act like any criticism whatsoever is just a bandwagon as if people aren’t allowed to voice their opinion unless they like something
@kzkaa.5 ай бұрын
@@plugshirt1762I guess we all need to learn how to differentiate between legitimate criticism and mindless bandwagon, which can either be very obvious or very subtle.
@demi-femme48215 ай бұрын
No, because then people will look back later and make videos on how all the "Why This Show Sucks" essays are actually really bad criticism and the original show was better than people gave it credit for. It's not just people "seeing the flaws", it's people misrepresenting the show, sometimes on purpose and sometimes out of sheer piss-on-the-poor media literacy, and people blindly following that shit (lookin' at you, Lily Orchard).

Am I the only one that gets pissed off seeing this dudes videos? like honestly, am I the only one that sees the pattern here? every single one of his videos is just making fun of a concept that he acts like he wasn’t a part of, adds in a few internet jokes or fucking Edward Robinson references and then ends the video with a perfectly cut scream. It’s the SAME THING, HAS ANYONE NOTICED THAT? I FEEL LIKE IM TAKING CRAZY PILLS.
