Q has been remarkable and one of the main reasons the defense has improved so much. I wish there was a way to know for certain what coverage they’re in because sometimes guys play instinct or take the wrong man and it’s difficult to know exactly why someone didn’t switch, drop or shadow etc. I think you do a great job deciphering the plays plus showing and explaining the footwork, leverages, positioning, movement and nuances to the game.

Seeing him defend the quick slant at the goal line makes me happy. The rams threw quick slants to Kupp all game last year.

What jumps out to me about Quinyon Mitchell is his stickiness in coverage. I hate to be hyperbolic, but the only player I can compare it to is Revis. He looks like Revis to me. No joke.

it’s been a VERY long time since Philadelphia can truly shut down at least one half of the field. reminiscent of the 2000s. RIP Jim Johnson and how he brought out superb DB play during that era.

The Austin drop was actually a deflection my Nakobe. Kind of re-reouted the ball. I want to see how Q does against the Rams and other teams will high level QB's just to quell my curiousity about the timing of throws. Peyton would throw the ball before the receiver made his break. Making it much more difficult for DB's. I may be just hunting for things that arean't there, but I feel like sometimes lesser experience QBs hold the ball too long and the window closes on the opportunity. Maybe that QB doesn't exist anymore. Either way, I'm glad the youngblood is on our team!

In the last clip it looks to me like the defense is playing Cover 6 or "Stuff". 1/4 1/4 by slay and Blankenship to the passing strength (RB side) with Baun playing 1/4 flat and Dean hook/curl. On the weak or field side CJ is in 1/2 and Mitchell is playing 'squat' on #1 and Dejean is going to carry #2 if vertical
