It’s really surprising how much better the secondary and defense as a whole is compared to last year. If we had better pass rush the D would look phenomenal. Even is ‘22 the defense wasnt this good. Offense scored a lot of points early effectively letting the line pin their ears back and get after the qb which made Bradberry look a lot better.

@@ryancampbell1847 agreed. Since BG will retire and assuming we move on from Slay and Bradberry next season, we should have enough to re-sign Baun. It's just a matter of whether Howie will make an exception of his philosophy of not paying LBs and pay him. I don't see the issue as we have two stud DBs on rookie deals for another 3-4 years.

Yeah, there’s no way he’ll be an Eagle next season. He’s already played himself into a contract that Howie won’t pay for a linebacker. He’s already paying top dollar for QB, RB, 2 WR, the entire O line. Can’t pay top dollar at every position and the Eagles don’t value linebackers like that.

@ I don’t see it happening. If I were him (or his agent) I wouldn’t sign an extension during the season. After the season he’ll be asking $10+ million. Howie isn’t spending that much for a linebacker. I hope I’m wrong. I just don’t see it happening

The 1st play you showed, where he had the pass breakup, shouldn't CJGJ been there? He was covering a guy going deep when Blankenship was there to cover him. CJGJ worries me, if I'm honest.
