I actually wanted a bit of both i wanted original rec room originals to have new maps, maybe for example every 6 months with a vote a mode like paintball laser tag etc could have a new map made by the community using rec room studio, A it could breath new life into these modes and B it would both save rec room development money and make players happy

Love this video BVR!! We really need "Get Player is on VR" (or some form of platform detection chip), A way to directly detect inputs (Player Get Walking Direction, On Player Jump Pressed, On Player Slide Pressed, etc) and A better tagging system that doesn't make me rip my hair out Among many other things... I will die begging for these changes... makes me sad that they are "focusing on making everything work cross-platform without any extra work from creators" when there are so many scenarios where that is just impossible, specifically when creators try to make huge projects that push the limits of this game Current methods of platform detection using player camera positions or gun handle firing directions are annoying and should be completely unnecessary

They both have the same characteristics and same idea, but instead of a forest crazy ass murderer vibe, they made it where it’s actually pretty goofy to see bonky waddling around… unless if it’s the tryhard who has no chill

3:08 Just a little side note, unity uses C# as its native programing language, which is higher level than its superset C, and you showed the C logo and not the C# logo, C and C# differ in many ways, some are that they are made by different people C is much lower level than C# C was made in the '90s and C# was made in the 2000s by Microsoft among other things

we NEED a player constant chip so we can make specific players have events happen, not just no player and local player. also holotar v2

there is a player variable that you can use for that exact purpose with event senders. also holotar v2 exists

If you want a specific event to only run for certain players, you can send your event to "All" players in event sender config menu, and then have circuits immediately after your Event Receiver that stop execution if the event isn't intended for the local player If you would like to make an event only run for someone with a certain role, put an if and a Player Has Role with Local Player as the input. "Then" on the IF will only run for players with that role. If you would like to make an event only run for someone with a certain player name for some reason, use "Get Player By Display Name", an "If", and an "equals" to check if the local player value equals the Get Player by Display Name value. There are many many more ways you can combine circuits to provide the logic that you need for your project. There isn't any need for a "Player Constant" chip. If you need any help setting up a circuit, you can always ask in the #circuits-help channel in the Rec Room Discord :)

I mean we’ve been asking for a new quest for six years now and we still haven’t got it.
