I kind of hate Reddit outside of the hobby based subs Edit: since this kind of blew up I figured I’d elaborate to make it a more worthwhile comment, not just quoting the video lol. I feel like there’s a strong punishment culture on reddit where if you disagree or make a small mistake you’re instantly downvoted into oblivion. Which actually matters because if you lose all your karma you can’t even post, so reddit has this whole silencing culture to remove anyone who goes against the popular viewpoint on that sub or even just that thread. I know it’s meant to keep things civil but it really doesn’t. Reddit has some of the most toxic and unreasonable threads I’ve ever seen, it’s certainly no higher quality than a KZbin or Instagram comments section, contrary to what the reddit elitists would have us believe

Niño Pan Lol reminds me of my time on Reddit. After the first week or so, I’m on a non political thread of like CSGO or like Minecraft, some peaceful ass shit. When some retard comes at me for no reason screaming about how capitalism was the worse thing ever. Basically screaming their first world problems and directing them towards me cause I mentioned buying CSGO skins. Yup, I got downvoted to the abyss for saying that the "justice" was a tad overboard, and might not even be justice. What happened in the video, from start to finish, was some dude on a subway pushed someone else, who proceeded to beat the guy who pushed. Video started with the push, ended with the guy who pushed on the ground, curled in a ball, while the "good guy" continued to kick him in the head repeatedly. All I tried to say is that the dude who pushed could have easily had some mental condition, or maybe the person who was pushed was being rude, people don't usually push random people for no reason. I also pointed out self defense stops applying when your opponent is no longer a threat, for example curled in a ball on the floor while you give him repeated concussions. But nope, because person A pushed person B, with no other context provided in the video, person B was completely justified giving person A likely permanent brain damage after person A already surrendered, requiring weeks or months for the migraines to stop, if they ever do.
