A fun fact: As a Brazillian Portuguese speaker I can confirm this sample is in fact related to the song. The line that keeps repeating in reverse throughout the whole song "Adeus" translates to "Goodbye" in english. This only shows how much of a musical genius 21 savage is, considering that "redrum" is literally "murder" written backwards. "Goodbye" and "Murder" are both inserted into the song in reversed forms and are related words. This was such a smart move!

the shazam is cool and love that for verification. but i theorize that only certain songs he can do that with; ones that have an long enough open instrumental section like intro, break, post chorus, outro, etc of some kind. otherwise shazam might not recognize a song if played instrumental only ➖that typically has vocals/words playing at that point in time (since hes never plays it with the vocals). the two songs ive seen him do this with both had open instrumental sections. that he chose to play so it can be a dead on match for shazam AI. in this original song the intro plays music only. so it might not work for songs without open sections.

hey so after you make the looped piece of the 808, are you then playing that looped piece of the original 808 *only* ? or are you still playing original 808 and adding the looped sustained piece to the end of it for more sustain till it runs into the next note in the pattern? thanks a bunch

how are you finding the exact instruments being used on these songs and being able to compare the waveforms like that? is it some sort of isolating software, or do you just have the original stems from the songs that you recreate and thats how you do your comparisons? cause i have no idea how youre lining up samples like that. if it was a full song obviously the waveforms going to not show that. thanks
