Hello, I want to tell you about a problem I have. So I also removed the steering wheel of my 3008 manual transmission, because when I turned the steering wheel made a small gap, like plastic, as it touches some plastic pieces so I dismantled the steering wheel same procedure, then reassembled it the same way you did with the torque wrench, but when I reconnected the battery and turned on the engine the ESP / ASR warning light appeared on the on-board computer with the ESP anomaly message. I think I contacted the connectors correctly, do you know what could have happened, thank you very much in advance

Hello. I THINK that removing the steering wheel has nothing to do with ESP. In any case, try disconnecting the battery and reconnect it after about 5 minutes and turn on the ignition for 30 seconds and start.

There is already a hole in the bottom of the Steeringwheel to unlock the AB.

There should be a hole at the bottom of the steering wheel (rear) that actuates both airbag retaining rods so no need to go in from the side as shown here ! Actually Im wrong must be a later model
