Robert brings up how bored the audience might be but I'm not sure how aware he is that so many are interested in his various techniques involving literature and writing!

Fantastical! I've tried so many note keeping styles and nothing has really stuck with me. I use digital tools for a lot of tracking of articles and such that I've read, but I often feel like I need a better physical note system for my own writing. I've recently have been rethinking these methods from Greene, Holiday, and others for keeping notes from reading (especially from books) to build a physical knowledge system. Seems like it's worth a try!

good advice for any creators! currently reading his book "the daily laws" and I find it so dense, clear, inspiring, so well adjusted to the reading habits of our times... great job!

OMG this is so helpful. I’m writing my 2nd book right now. I have all my cards on sticky notes on the wall. I do think I’m going to put them into Obsidian or something similar. Even though I’m 54 I’m a tech nerd. And my wall looks messy with sticky notes all over it lol. Thank you thank you thank you

@mamb_I think I've seen KZbin tiles for his recommendations. This may have occurred since you wrote your comment a year ago; search for it.

Shane, what's the LOGISTICAL difference between video and audio-video podcast? Bcoz somehow seeing someone talk seems like a different experience than just hearing them

Its so much better doing these notes by hand. You value the notes far more, a bit like the difference between having an album on record versus spotify

I wanted to learn his study habits so I can digest his books. The problem is, his books already breaks it down like this. He establishes the Keys to Power/Mastery etc. And then he also put out the daily laws which are essentially note card sized chunks from his books. 😂
