Don’t forget how Harley sexually assaulted Deadshot. The utter disrespect of the JL is abhorrent. Harley was basically copy and pasted from Margot Robbie’s Harley. Arkham Harley was unique. A feel like a Superman game set after an event where he was temporarily controlled by branic would make for a great story, especially in today where apart from the Superman star man meme, Superman is portrayed as constantly evil. I think a story where Superman has to remind people that he actually a genuine good guy would make for a interesting narrative, heck as video game they can could use the subplot where branic alter their dna when he had them under control as a in game explanation for why Superman Powers aren’t up to the usual standard, and why the people has to regain his strength and power bit by bit, however an interesting twist would be to make this happen as Superman slowy regains the people’s trust. Especially tying the player’s growing strength with the people growing faith and support of you, allowing for the story to tell without speaking, about how the truth Measure of someone is what they do with their power, afterall power isn’t the end goal but a means to achieve your goals.

To be fair Batman was confirmed to be alive at the end of arkham knight which was confirmed in the catwoman and Robin DLC by the henchmen and this was further confirmed in Reddit AmA Sefton Hill did a few years after arkham knight released. As for what they did with suicide squad... I won't say anything because this comment will be longer than it has been aside from its failure being deserved WB didn't force them they wanted to make this.

It was so bad I looked up to Arkham Batman growing up so seeing his treatment in SSKTJL I stopped playing after I killed flashed and deleted the game off my ps5. I could tell the difference. I still play Arkham Knight and just repurchased and downloaded the return to Arkham remaster games just to get that terrible game of SSKTJL. I play the actual Arkham games and deleted the faux ones.

Rocksteady is just a name, the devs there are completely new and not a single person there, worked on Arkham Asylum, Arkham City, Arkham Knight or Arkham VR.

You know what cycles i see? When players start the game, their like, "why do people hate this game? It looks so good". Only when they get to the flash boss fight is when they start to rethink the games perception. And then finally when batman is killed off, it was already a coffin sealed when players are like "yep im done"

I don't agree with your premise as I don't think Arkham Knight was a good ending at all. Nobody was interested in seeing how Batman ends at that time. People wanted more, not less. They wanted the series to continue and evolve. To play as Batman but also as his family, as other heroes, as the Justice League. Arkham Knight was only interested in being done with Batman games. They wanted to do other gameplay mechanics, sell DLC, costumes, battle passes.... Honestly, everything wrong with Suicide Squad - started with Knight.

Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League didn’t even sell enough copies or have enough of a fanbase to be considered canon. Canon isn’t decided by what company or publisher can fork over the most money to buy the IP and assign it to whoever. For example; lots of people consider Disney’s Star Wars to be a fanfic because they fundamentally don’t care for nor understand the IP. Canon is decided by the fanbase overall. No one considers this crap canon lmao

Great video. As mentioned by others Knight shouldn't be considered a real ending. It clearly wants to continue the story. Unfortunately Baby Inc's Rocksteady decided to continue the story. Suicide Squad is a complete travesty of the Arkham verse. Its a shame we didn't get the Batman beyond game

I had to stop this. The constant moving camera and putting you into ALMOST EVERY SHOT does not work. It was so off putting that it became the focus of the video and not what you were actually saying. Having some guy sit on a windowsill with a camera moving like you are on a boat with rapid edits is not a good video style for viewers.
