Westbrook was the only clipper that was giving it their all and Powell that one game he dropped 40, if he didn't have that clutch block in game 1 they would have lost he may have had a bad game 5 but all and all he was amazing

Russ on da Heat would be so dope, I think thats the perfect spot for him along side Jimmy. He has that mentality and its the only place that he can redeem himself cause he would be the #2 option and the #1 some nights, he just gotta bring the defense and that intensity. I can see him averaging trip-dubs again there and maybe even an All-Star reserve, im praying this happens. Imaging Russ on the Finals and winning a ring with the Heat, that would cement his HOF spot instantly.

@@Avogadros_number to me he is First Ballot but the way he is ending his career and the fact that he has never had succes in the in the playoffs, I can see some voter doubting it. But if Harden makes it, he gotta make it, they are both cut from the same cloth (Jimmy Butler, Harden, Westbrook,PG13, Draymond & Lillard) are in that class of posible Hall of Famers with some doubts.

@TooTrendyEnt
@TooTrendyEnt Жыл бұрын
@@davyunwashington3613 Believe me, spacing is not the problem, he had success in OKC with Adams, Roberson & Sabonis who had horrible a bad shooting season. Non of them shot more than 2.3 3PG and 30% from 3 in Russ MVP season, in fact that team only had 2 players that averaged 36% from 3 that season (Oladipo 5.2 3PA & Grant 1.5 3PA). The main problem is that Russ needs the ball in his hands most of the time and you see that worked great in the 2 seasons with PG13 (who had his best season playing with Russ) so I think Butler, Bam and all dem shooters will work great with Russ. And im not a Russ fan, I would take Lillard first but Russ will be basically free and u can add more in the off-season meanwhile u got to give Herro + another 2 player + 2/3 picks to get him. Imagine Russ/Herro/Jimmy/Bruce Brown/Bam 🔥

It's perfect for the Clippers. Having Russ Westbrook be "The Man" during the regular season means Kawhi can "load manage" literally all 82 regular season games and P George can even sit out 50 if he wants to. Miami has shown that just getting the 8th seed is enough to get to the Finals. I don't know how they hope to beat the Kings, Lakers, Warriors and Nuggets though.

What I mean to say is a lot of players who had their careers shortened due to injuries could have been as good as their peers who had stellar careers. Health, knees and such issues are often not in their hands. But Russ could learn to shoot, he should have developed an IQ which he shows to miss a lot of times. Ifs and buts shouldn't apply equally to everyone.

So what’s you’re saying is that high performing business people and high performing athletes are both driven by fragile egos… I mean the vanity metric of reaching $1 billion says it all. These people are set for life after the first few million but yet they always want more. If it was really about “helping people in the community” they would never reach a billion dollars in the first place.

As a Clips fan I don't want Westbrook back. He wasn't the disaster he was with the Lakers, but if you look at win-loss before and after Russ it's clear he didn't make a difference in the big picture. I like Westbrook....off the court....he's a good guy. On the court he's a roller coaster of great plays one minute and bonehead mistakes the next. If only his hoops IQ matched his athleticism and energy. But point guard isn't the big issue for this team. Their Big Two can't stay off the IL. I think the Kawhi-PG experiment can be declared a failure. Time to move on. I do trust Ballmer and his front office. Banners will eventually hang in Intuit Arena.
@pfpchad2747
@pfpchad2747 Жыл бұрын
I think Clippers need to move off Kawhi and PG. Kawhi used to be my favorite player but he just can't stay on the court. Clippers load managed him all season and all they got out of him was 2 playoff games before he got injured again. And PG always gets the freakiest injuries and when he plays, it's hit-and-miss. Not a true alpha. PG would be a perfect player on a big 3, where he's the #3 best player. Kind of like Beal on Phoenix right now. Biggest problem with Russ is that he can't shoot. He gets hot every once in a while but most of the time, he's a bricklayer. I don't understand how someone can play as long as he can and not be able to shoot. He's kind of like Lebron in the sense that they are both so athletically gifted that they never bothered to work on their jump shots. In any case, Clippers aren't winning anything because both Kawhi and PG will be injured again either before next year's playoffs or in the first or 2nd round.

Point guard isn't a big issue, but Russ is still an amazing player to have 😂. He loves the clippers too, considering he just resigned for 4 million a year. What's not to appreciate about Russ?
